lol... I spotted that too.... Its the one main thing thats putting me off getting the stripes. You just know one of your mates is going to pick up on it.!!
As far as Im aware you cant interface the standard changer with anything other than the stock headunit. If you want dash display then you have to remove the top of your dash. There are remote control adapters available for Sony and Alpine iirc. More info...
The headlamp washers operate 1-2 seconds after the main windscreen jets, when headlamps are in use. I try not to use mine cos it makes a mess of the front of your car !
HID headlamps produce more light in directions below a horizontal plane passing through the headlamp compared to standard headlamps. When the headlamp is dirty, the dirt will reflect light in directions it was not meant to go, thus scattering the light upwards. Therefore there will be more light...
LOL..... I think you got the wrong end of the stick m8..... I never gave any thought to cruising...... just a car that has absolutely savage acceleration upto the ton!!! An ultra-close ratio gearbox, WRC stylee....:D
There are a few cheap Cups knocking about, but youre gonna have to be prepared to take a big hit on the value of your dci....
Its possible to get good consumption from the 172s, but youll struggle (if your anything like me!) to drive it with fuel consumption in mind. I probably only get 300...
Had my first ever compliment last night.... off my mates sister in law. "Oooh, look at you with your nice car!! I love Clio Sports!!" Then her boyfriend piped up "Wow, a 172, how jealous am I ?!". And thats all anyone has ever said about it. As for people taking a second look, Im not so sure...
I cant see how 1 bhp/tonnei s going to make a great deal of difference. As is said above, when comparing the 2.0 Renaultsport Clios, you can forget tyres, one being 3mm lower than the other, pwr/weight ratios etc etc... They are so close the driver will always play the biggest part...
lol... looked again and they do look metallic.... but they are deffo black plastic. the part that fixes to the floor has a hook on the back of it to spike through the carpet iirc....
Well you dont have to if you dont want to!! Just to make sure it works!! Its programmed at the dealers as part of the PDI and is not done at the factory iirc....
Yup, I got both mats but only one set of fasteners....
Check that Drivers window is one touch...
I think youve just about got it covered. just give it a good going over before you take it....
