Yeah, best head unit you can get for the money. That said components are an excellent way of improving the soundstage (dont flame me if thats the wrong terminology!) and youll struggle to get a decent amp, head unit and speakers all for less than £500!!
My mates is the same. His has 18k on the clock, and it seems to rev so much easier than mine... Mine you, he has a goodun.... 14.6 1/4 with panel filter. Perhaps mine is just a sh*te one. Sometimes it feels rapid, other time it feels really sluggish and reluctant to pull from low down.. who...
Never seem to have enough time to wax mine properly..... takes me 4 hours just to wash and dry mine!!
Does anybody know of any reputable car valeters in the midlands area??
Gearing is different, but not much. Dont forget, whilst the 182 is a fairly torquey lump, peak torque isnt until over 5k rpm.... so dont expect it to pull like a train from 3k rpm...
oh and a different air intake might make your car sound like its going quicker...lol.

So what was coming out of the back of an 04 passat I was following today then?? Fairy Dust?? No. A puff of smoke as black as the ace of spades every time he put his foot down!!
I would. Maybe. It would be fast alright. But it would still be a diesel. They sound bad, they smell bad and they chuck clouds of black smoke..... Having said that, a 2.0 150 Dci engine in a Clio would be awesome......
LOL.... that was my first thought..... it might be OK though, but hes not put uprated cams in it to get better mpg has he!!:p.... its a nice enough car, but Id check it out thoroughly before even thinking about buying it......
Christ, the Clios lap time has ruffled a few feathers....
Noticed 10penceshort giving you a bit of grief Rich, I take it thats the same d1ckhead that crops up on here occasionally??!
Seem to remember a while back somebody had a similar problem, came off due to the hot weather iirc....... They took it back to Renault and they replaced the whole wheel..... I have no idea if the rubber inserts are a seperate part. One of the Renault lads should be able to tell you....
Ive just washed mine.... took aaaages to get the flies off. I set about em with a pressure washer first to loosen em a bit, then give them a good soak and finally sponge them off withh my magic bug-removing sponge. (sponge with fine cotton mesh on the outside)
Ive tried all the comercially...
It reverts back to normal mode the next time you unlock the car. So you have to set it every time. Bit of a ballache, but helps if your cars stuck in a work car park all day in the blazing sun...
Shall i start another thread "Hot Weather Tip for Cup owners....."

......With Renault Cat1 Alarm. If you turn your ignition on and off four times consecutively, it disables the volumetric sensors inside, so you can have your windows down a bit but still alarm/lock your car. Lock the car as normal and you should hear four beeps if you have done it correctly...
Loud and clear m8... Your English is better than some of the English people who post on here!!
I honestly dont think the washers are that effective. They are certainly not going to shift all the bugs plastered to my headlights.....
Its very much a personal thing. When I was 18, I would have killed myself (your not as good as you think you are sonny!;)) in a 182. A friend of mine, albeit back in the days when insurance wasnt quite so scandalous, had a modded RS Turbo when he was 18. I m glad to report hes still alive, and...
