Whoah!! 46!!!??!:o! Jeee-sus H Christ!! You nearly as old as my dad!! lol!!;)
Woman in her 50s drives a Cup where I live. Having followed her a few times, I bet she doesnt even know what happens after 5000 rpm....
Depends. I find I get better starts if set the revs at around 3.5k and slip the clutch a bit.... too much wheelspin otherwise. That said, Im not much of a driver, so I could be doing it completely wrong lol...
Hey, Im not arguing whether or not you should have it there. I dont give a flying f**k!! Its your car, do with it as you please!!
BTW, I have seen it. On your car and many others. Its just my opinion. And Im entitled to it. If you want to badge your car up as something its not, feel free.......;)
why does it matter?? Anybody who knows enough about cars to recognise a 182 is going to know that its not a proper Cup. For the rest of the people who dont know what a 182 is, its just going to look like a silly little silver badge stuck to the back.... either way it doesnt make any odds.
£12,000 for a 53 plate pre-reg 172 (UK car full warranty and AA cover, cat1 alarm) last november... yours for £10,500 - 6000 miles on the clock.

Have to agree there. I dont know if its just the area I live in, but there are literally hundreds of CTRs and Mini Pooper Ss but only a handful of 172s and even fewer Cups....
I would say red. Monaco Blue is a bit plain. Black looks stunning (when clean!) but is less distinguishable from a 1.2 than other colours. Silver is http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1084537223__1024x766.jpgnice, but as said above, its popular. The red looks even better in the flesh...
I think Ive only used mine twice. Once to see how it worked, and the second time out of curiosity (see above)!!! Unless your on an empty motorway in the middle of the night, its pretty much useless...
As said above... its a front wheel drive. Try picking a better line into the bend so you dont need to turn in to sharp and too fast...... When my 172 understeers, it only takes minor throttle/wheel adjustment to get it to bite again.....
Nice one.... Titanium is the second most popular colour 182 after Black Gold, so theres going to be quite a few knocking about!! If you think its loose after 650 miles, wait until you get a few thousand under your belt.....:D
Do a search m8, this has been covered a few times.... Although the price for Xenons from a dealer is £500 as an optional extra, to retro-fit would cost a great deal..... I think Jay (renault tech) priced up the parts etc and estimated it would cost over £1500.....
Say that there is a rattle which appears to be coming from the back of the dashboard. You think that it is the centre section of the exhaust resonating when the engine is at 4k rpm. Explain to him that it is a documented fault on the 172 and you require it sorting asap... Or take a bloke with...
seconded ^^^ I use Optimax most of the time, but I occasionally pop into Morrisons for fuel. If there is any difference, Ill be buggered if I can tell...........
^^ same as.... mines only 1500w 80 bar..... great for shifting flies etc... just be careful if you have any stone chips.... they can get a whole lot bigger with a squirt from a pressure washer!!!
