When Ive purchased new cars Ive never been able to get near the sort of prices some people go on about on car forums. The only way Ive ever managed is with a F & F discount.
I have seen stories of dealers where sales guys have said one thing...

Nope, F & F from a main Renault dealer is 20%. From a small franchise dealer its less.
Theyve been posting loads of pics of my car on there recently too. As well as on a couple of other foreign Clio sites. I even had PMs of some Spanish guys about it.
The ride is fine on B roads. The only time it suffers is when its very bouncy, but even then its not too bad. I think they commented on that in the MSN review and summed it up well.
Have a read of the comments made here about the ride and handling...
I traded in my 182 with Cup packs for a Trophy. The difference is pretty huge. The ride of the Trophy is extremely firm and it corners a lot flatter. It also dives into corners with amazing front end grip, with understeer reduced considerably. It also puts its power down well out of corners...

Right the Reno interface stuff arrived today and doesnt work. All the connections are correct and it claims to work on them up to an 05 plate but it does bugger all. Going to call about it now and see what the deal is.
