Yes mate I did. I went through the returns process with Caraudio direct and they agreed to send me out a new one. On the day they were to post it I got a reply to my email to Incartec so I reopened my ticket on Caraudio direct and...
Sounds like something is wrong as the yellow connector isnt required. As you say, just the two ISO blocks for Speakers and power.
Probably an obvious thing, but only the Renault head unit will work with the ignition off, no matter how you wire an Alpine it wont work without the ignition...
Cheers guys. Handling wise the Trophy is very stable, it corners so flat for a standard car. The engine is very tight though as its only covered 1k miles so far.
There was only 1 V6 who would have caused me problems and that was Jeremy. I didnt come across him on track though.
Oh and I...
The yellow plug is for the Stalk controls and display. You dont need it.
Which headunit are you fitting?
If the Renault unit you have removed has the words "update list" on the front then its unlikely you will be able to get a Stalk control and display adaptor for it yet.
Ive got...
Thanks to Blink172 having a camera mounted in his car on Wednesday heres 6 minutes of him following me around Oulton Park.

Ive had a re think. Im going back in on Monday and telling them to fix the f**king thing. Its drinking petrol at an alarming rate and the fluctuating rev limiter is a pain in the arse. The last thing I want in this temperature is a car which thinks that its stone cold. It can only lead to...

Wo Wo Wo!!! where have i been for the past month.. Trophy!! match against a V6?!?!.. Serious Qs here... i thought the Trophy was almost identical to the 172 cup... its still 182 bhp but surely isnt as light as the 172cup.. or is it?.. whats...
I posted the the 4car and MSN one the other week.
I reckon the MSN one is probably the most useful to people looking to buy one. They comment on its road manners a little more as well as its amazing handling on track.
All great press again though.
The car used in Autocar was at Oulton...

Doesnt mean a sensor is though.;)
Had a small issue with the car this morning so I called the garage first thing and asked if I could take it down and get it looked at. Because its only 3 weeks old they agreed. When I got there I explained exactly what was wrong and what they needed to do to fix it, I also pointed out it could...
Cheers guys.
Nice to see everyone and to meet Nick.
Took it for its first real spin tonight with Jay in the car. If Id been in my 182 I think it would have been a real spin. That car corners like it has no right too. Amazes me more and more. If only Id done more miles Id have it on...
LMAO, I had exactly the same thing in my 172 or 182. It was the headlamp washer relay on the 172 or 182.
Whatever it is its a relay and just pushes back in.
