looking at the engine..
front right hand side of the block.. just right and under the bottom half of the inlet manifold.
silver metal sensor plugs in.. has a hex bolt round it about 20mm
and a black plug into it

btw 99.9% it...
both.. just that the passenger side has no drive belts ect... so if it does it at idle then the only moving parts are the g.box.
so if it goes when the clutch is down then will be the release bearing
or somthing to do with the box
if not and it only happens when you move then id say the...
no they shouldnt increase oil usage...thats nomally worn rings hehe, do you get black smoke from the zorst?
although i was told that renault quote an acceptable tolerance for f4r using oil is 1ltr per 1000 miles lol!
at the front of the engine.. bout 25cm by 15cm block of ally..
the bolts are hard to get to though.. ull need a 13mm socket. extention (sp) bar and wrench
uprated ones are poo imo.. unless your going to be running v.high revs on a spec'd engine in which case you will then need a solid lifter conversion.
stick to oem imo
You can some times save them by removing them and poping them in a adapted vice to drain the oil. then re feed them pop them in and your sorted if your lucky.
also to remove tappets / lifters. the inlet comes off, then the cam cover, cam belt, pullys, cam ladders, camshafts then you can...
