Matt, dont you have a Mk1 16v? I know on Mk2 172s.. the limit is definetly lower when cold.. and once everything gets warm, the limit changes! But yea.. limiter should be same in all gears..

Probably to protect engine.. have a lower limiter when the engine is cold - I think 172s have something similar. 4500 is low tho..heh.

^^ What he said, hehe. But, they are all quite a way from the North West. BB is Essex, K-Tec is right down south, HillPower is near Ashby and GDi is near Cambridge..

I havnt no (was already done when I got mine), but I know HillPower have quoted someone £180 for Cambelt.. They also do the whole pulleys/belts etc.. if you want, but thats around £300 if I remember!

No point in repairing them.. they just come back. Almost all Clios with a Sunroof, have dents at the corners of it..

I went from a 1.2 8v Mk1 Clio to a Williams 3. Quite a jump.. heh. Just have to think about it for a bit.. and dont just floor it everywhere.. because before you know it, youd normally be doing 60 in ya 1.2.. but in the 182 youll be doing a lot more speed.. and corners approach quicker!
