quickshift, Motorpoint EU imports dont have the window etching and arent on the National Security register. I used to have a 172 from Motorpoint, which was an EU import.
Did your car come from there or another parallel importer?
Those dam Yokos in the wet!!
Reminds me of my old 172, same colour, similar reg and purchased from Motorpoint around the same time.
Hope the drive is okay.

another one to look forward too
Guess what, my exhaust still rattles and this is a brand new one. Could be the heat shield, but Ive lost interest now.
Mine is exactly the same and has got worse recently. Im just going to put up with it for now, I cant be bothered to book it in for more work.
They never idle smoothly, but this is the worst Ive had on either my old 172 or 182.
The lad I give a lift home from work commented he thought it...

Is it not a whole lot safer to connect the harnesses up to the seat belt buckles in the back rather than around the rear strut brace?
I was just going to comment on that. The rear strut brace isnt designed to take forces in that direction...
Not swapped, but I almost purchased one before I bought the 172, then again a little while back when I got the 182.
Only one thing put me off, but compared to the Clio it was quite a big thing, and that was the lack of feel from the steering. Other than that it was a cracking car.
I know mate, but there does seem to be a lot of very young members with 172/182/Cups and even V6 cropping up at the moment.
Most of us worked our way up through the lower ranks before something a bit quicker came along.

Have you seen the age of some of the owners on here recently?
Thought it was you. Commented to the lad I give a lift home that it looked like Clart behind the wheel.
What you doing over by me? Id not be there if I didnt live there!
