Um, why retrim? Just use the covers off the rs seats. May not just be the seat, could be the relationship between seats/wheels/pedAls. Try removing the vibration washers to lower the seat.

I preffer the turbo. Prefer the power delivery, prefer the fact it doesn't sound like it's hurting when approaching the redline. All things considered, I'd much rather have a gen1 car though.

I had similar symptoms. After changing leads, plugs, coil pack, and various sensors, turned out to be the lambda! Get an rstuner, mine had a stored fault that a normal code reader didn't pick up.
