Oh, and with 17's, the ride will always be a bit choppy, even on standard suspension. Your wheels would fetch good money, I'd inclined to sell and get the 16inch version.
I'd wait for a set of H&R 2nd hand. I've been in a few clio's on coilovers, and without fail you get what you pay for. The smaller companies can't match the r&d that zee Germans put in.
Better to save and wait, than buy cheap now and end up spending again. I have some standard 172...
Um, why retrim? Just use the covers off the rs seats. May not just be the seat, could be the relationship between seats/wheels/pedAls. Try removing the vibration washers to lower the seat.
I preffer the turbo. Prefer the power delivery, prefer the fact it doesn't sound like it's hurting when approaching the redline.
All things considered, I'd much rather have a gen1 car though.
Cracking cars, had one on order before I drove a 172. The Works are incredible value now. 2nd gen has the better engine, but everything else is better (for my tastes) with the 1st gen. Great buy.
I had similar symptoms. After changing leads, plugs, coil pack, and various sensors, turned out to be the lambda! Get an rstuner, mine had a stored fault that a normal code reader didn't pick up.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
You were 100% right, now I'm used to it and all the aids are off, really enjoying it. 16th on spa at the moment, that will improve !!
