It was the boss (Hugh) that I used. Brilliant. He tears your driving to pieces, but in a constructive, gentle way. Ie, he doesn't make you feel like an idiot. There's some basic stuff covered (looking further up the road, positioning the car etc) but also car control, balance, and you find...
Depends what you're after tbh. I've used these guys

I need to book a day next year, might book them for a day on track as well.
Tom has a point. I doubt there's many on here that have spent their hard earned on tuition (not just on track, road as well) as having something you 'physically get' for your money seems more appealing to most. It might be a good idea, but most would rather spend the money on the car, as they...
I disagree, I was on track with one of your customers. No difference in stopping power.
End of the day, it's a fraction over a ton! The standard set-up set shorter stopping distances than a F360 and a 996 when Autocar did the ph1 road test.
Why bother tbh? Won't make a drastic difference (or massively noticeable) to the speed of the car. Do some trackdays, take some tuition, and you'll be far quicker than having an extra 10bhp.
That's what I wondered. Hopefully the sensor side, not the loom side!
I'll find out tomorrow if that's the issue, if not I'll need to borrow a can of fuel, and some matches.
Not that I know of. Was running like a peach, until the exhaust dropped out of it's mount at Oulton on the RS day.
Thanks for the offer. I'll most likely borrow the suspension and the new engine;)
Ok, done so far:
-New spark plugs
-New leads
-New MAP sensor
-New coil pack
-Cleaned earth points (except the one on the back of the gearbox, will do tomorrow)
-Changed all injectors
-Had code reader on, no faults registering
Still f**king misfiring! Happens when cold and hot. Changed the coil...
Having owned them all, the ph1 is my preference. The interiors not great, but easily rectified if you're bothered. Nearly the same weight as a cup, but you get ac. On 15's, which they work better with. Mine comes in at under a ton with only slight strippage. Throttle cable is just more 'fun' as...
Apparently there are 2 earth points on the gearbox, I've found the one in the passenger wheel arch, whereabouts is the other.

As far as brakes are concerned, 4pots are overkill imo. I've been on track twice with cars running 4pots. Neither had more stopping power than mine (uprated pads/discs/lines etc). And fade's not an issue for mine (now I've bled the brakes!).
End of the day it's a light car.
