there isn't one attached to the coil pack, but there is one at the back right hand side and front right also. Might be one of these, but you wouldn't have removed them if you were just cleaning the airbox surely????
you don't need a PTG I guess, but it's just something to fall back on if you're unsure how far you've gone through. is there no one near you that you could borrow one?
no lessons no mate. Have a read of DAve Kings guide on detailingworld. Maybe get a scrap panel and give it a go. I'm going to try it on my other car first, but only to get used to the action. Presure and heat can be monitored and I use PTG also.
It's wierd, might just be mine (although i've read a few people with RS that have had issues with DA - 197s included in this). I've tried lots of pad/polish combos but no joy. Bought the silverline off matt and will hopefully be using it soon to get the car ready for winter :approve:

I got mine made up from a...

This is what I followed and they were sweeeeeeet. Did it near a motor way so i could go for an un-interupted blast to cool the brakes. Cooling is very important. You need to get them red hot really. So they start to smell, then let them cool...
which cat fitting kit did you use? k-tec? It's wierd how there is a gasket of sorts, when standard one doesn't have one, and there seem to be miles more bits than what came off the car :S
