Want a pair of Recaro, comment?

3K for seats is rediculous. I'm sure you've more options than those mate for the price.

Agreed, menzerna polish and lakeside pads all day long. Megs pads aren't too bad though.

Car revs up and down when not in gear

A pipe? or an electical clip? :S don't remember removing one, but might be wrong. Plenums off at the mo as well.

    DA or Orbital polisher?

Makita is one of the most popular amongst the detailers. but I guess it would be down to personal preference ;)

    DA or Orbital polisher?

You're not going to get the same level of correction from a DA over a rotary period mate. Fact unfortunately.

Car revs up and down when not in gear

there isn't one attached to the coil pack, but there is one at the back right hand side and front right also. Might be one of these, but you wouldn't have removed them if you were just cleaning the airbox surely????

Fitted bucket seats now the service light and air bag light or on.

ah right, yeah resistors should work on that. I thougth it was 3.03ohm or 2.7ohm that worked on the seat wiring though :S

    DA or Orbital polisher?

you don't need a PTG I guess, but it's just something to fall back on if you're unsure how far you've gone through. is there no one near you that you could borrow one?

    Cold air feed ?

why do you need it so large?

    DA or Orbital polisher?

no lessons no mate. Have a read of DAve Kings guide on detailingworld. Maybe get a scrap panel and give it a go. I'm going to try it on my other car first, but only to get used to the action. Presure and heat can be monitored and I use PTG also.

Fitted bucket seats now the service light and air bag light or on.

Are you talking about the switch on the rail? Seat belt side? Not sure if the resistors work on this if that is the case?

    DA or Orbital polisher?

It's wierd, might just be mine (although i've read a few people with RS that have had issues with DA - 197s included in this). I've tried lots of pad/polish combos but no joy. Bought the silverline off matt and will hopefully be using it soon to get the car ready for winter :approve:

    DA or Orbital polisher?

if you're going to do rotary mate, go for the silverline off Matt at i4detailing. Don't go spending hundreds of pounds on a polisher. No need what so ever. Obviously if you're doing it for a career, the makita would be the one to go for. You can burn through with both, but from my experience...

    cup182 Anthracite Wheels colour code

Not sure if the renault one's are different colours to the ktec ones, but the paint code that they are from renault isn't a colour that renault stock. So I would imagine that speedline (who make the wheels for both renault and ktec) would use the same paint yes. I got mine made up from a...

    Ferodo DS2500 bedding in

http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm This is what I followed and they were sweeeeeeet. Did it near a motor way so i could go for an un-interupted blast to cool the brakes. Cooling is very important. You need to get them red hot really. So they start to smell, then let them cool...

which cat fitting kit did you use? k-tec? It's wierd how there is a gasket of sorts, when standard one doesn't have one, and there seem to be miles more bits than what came off the car :S
