pics of the box? can't remember what you're is.
You should have metal clips round the induction tube which you use a screw driver to slacken off. Remove that to give more room. Then remove all the bolts that hold the box in place to the engine and lift out. You might have to disconnect any...
Wierd to add this to an exhaust thread :S
Have a look in the search mate. There is a section for service intervals.
5 years or 36k for Auxbelt
5 years of 72K for cambelt (aux belt done at same time usually)
 removing the sach dampers. que the trophy boys!! I'd keep the dampers considering one is worth more than a set of bilstein coilovers. Change the springs maybe, but the dampers are some of the best around. Ask over on www.cliotrophy.co.uk about what they suggest.
not sure if miltec to mate. i know ktec do, but you might have to do some welding as i'm sure their decat is ktec exhaust specific (at the centre to decat join that is)

I suppose you could use a cheap cover and try and protect the potential 'friction areas' by putting microfibre towels under the cover. For a quick fix. Then once the sheet is tightly in place there shouldn't be any damage. Might be a bit tricky to do, but just an idea. I'm sort of in the same...
it depends on what you're after. Was looking at one for mine, but unless you get a custom one (between 200-300quid) which is breathable then you could have issues with the paint work. The cheap ones flap around in the wind and the material will scratch the paint. If tied down the bits can really...
