you should notice a difference in torque i believe.
Interesting point though Johnny, been wondering for a while now what companies like angel-works and JAM do to the inlets. From what i can gather they are just bored out a bit (correct me if i'm wrong) but not matched to the head.

how did the reservoir itself melt then? I can understand the cap melting if it was touching the manifold, but why the actual reservoir? There would have been no difference in heat around there. I've had brake fluid seep out round there and it never made any difference. If it's not flamable then...
Double sided velcro mate. works a treat. never slides. Saying that, the accellerator doesn't need pushing completely to the floor. The step at the bottom of the pedal range doesn't do anything as far as i'm aware apart from cancel the speed limiter.
it's probably a mixture of cold air, what rev's you were in and the engine feeling like it ;) Mine sometimes limits around 6750, but once you give it a bit for a while it loosens up and goes past the 7k mark ish. How much difference is there surely? might just be in your head :S
Thats an option i guess. Might need a few different grades of paper and go corse to fine. With the carbon fibre, if it has a gloss finish to it, you could try finishing it off with lacquer.
for sure if it's smooth inside the air will flow slightly better, but it won't make much difference to be fare. That piping is fine. have a look on the bay too.
;) See what you mean, but my experience with it wasn't great. I'm sure it does something  ;) Just wonder sometimes whether detailing goes one step to fare with stuff like this.
Let me know what you think of 3m pads Jamie, thinking about getting some. Good luck with the porche paint...
microfibre cloths and degreaser if needed. Just keep wiping till the crap is removed. Try not to get the bay too wet, and definately avoid water round the belts. No need to hose inside the bay really to be honest.
