menz intensive and LC cutting spot pad. Tried a few with no luck. Rotary is the way forward for speed and better finish. Just needs a bit more practice.
You got yours yet Jamie?
ps. Yeah i know what you mean about the PC. G220 is arguably better, less vibration etc. but they're both orbital...
It does unfortunately. I got the "sovent resistant" nossle from polishedbliss and it was fooked after a few weeks. I use a standard nossle, and remove and clean after every use. So long as you run water through it should be fine.
tardis works much faster than AG ITR (would be better if they attached a spray nozzle to it really), but essentially the same. AG is probably less concentrated really.
strange that the water has done that to be honest. You must have very hard water in the Valleys ;). AG bumper car is the best plastic stuff you can buy. Very durable and a great shine. Best doing one coat, then buffing off. Then apply again leaving it to soak in. Looks sweet as.
You could try...
Lovely example mate. Not sure if the 20kg difference made much effects on the handling but i doubt many people will look that far into it ;). Good luck with the sale
Hi all,
After a VERY frustrating weekend of paint correction (well that was the idea anyway), I have decided to purchase myself a rotary polisher as my G220 doesn't quite cut it (pardon the pun).
Was having to use a 4" pad all over the car and several hits also. So as you can imagine when...
Yes there is mate. Although i ended up going a wierd way last time. Remember, the roads around silverstone will be rammed (might not be too bad with the forecast weather) so aim to get in earlier if poss.
i would do rich, but didn't really need that much. If they did it in smaller volumes i would have gone for that. Might just use meguiars quick detailer from the clay kit. Gives a reasonable shine :S
if you pop over to detailingworld mate there is a guide on rotary polishing (apologies if you already know what you're doing).
Would suggest menzerna polish and a few cutting pads (lake country spot pads 4 and 6.5") as i've found the ph2 1*2 to have quite hard paint. I would also suggest...
If it's nice weather though, i'd only be looking to remove bugs and then give it a quick once over really.
vid looks simple enough though. been considering this

Anyone got any preferences? I'm doing a FULL detail of my car this weekend. Weather dependant, in time for WSR. But i want to take a detailer down with me to clean away the effects of the 200mile trip and add a bit more shine to it.
Anyone got any preferences?
I was using a 55-200mm nikkor vr lense, s0 f4- f5.6
Panning isn't very easy from where i was standing really. Particle idea sounds interesting.
Not sure what you mean about the grey card :S, but i did try exposure, but saying that i can't remember what the ISO was on at the time.
didn't need any pressure on my rears, just turned them. If you're not taking the front calipers off i'd use a hand clamp or something to force in the piston. Make sure to release some pressure though or it won't budge.
Thanks guys. Not sure what you mean about panning? Presume you mean following the subject rather than being still?
Was a bit gutted. This was the best i managed all day;
Not great really. Plus that's slightly edited.
s/speed was 150 yeah. anything less and it was crap. tried it with...
Hi all,
Went to Chill Factor in Manchester yesterday to test out the D40 on my mate snow boarding. If anyone has been, the lighting isn't great in there and when i adjusted the shutter speed to around 150 the photo's were very dark. So i adjusted the ISO from 200 to 400,800 and a few on 1600...
Hmmm, I couldn't scoop any of my velvet out if i tried. Its like rock. Might leave it on the rad and see what happens.
Can't find that link though mate.
FYI guys,

Have a read of that (you'll need a spare half hour) then tell me if there is much difference between the expensive waxes over the cheaper ones. People who pay a fortune for zymol etc are silly IMO. Wax...
