I ran the cable pretty much the same way Renault do. I ran it out to the side, along the bottom of the door sill behind the cover, then used the clip supplied to clip it to the metal by the bonnet release, then along the bottom of the dash and up to the head unit. When Renault factory fit it...
Mine are nice and solid. The 172 ones were all over the place like yours Bubba, but Ive got these in nice and solid in the 182.
They dont last long though. The drivers set in the 172 were threadbare by the time I got rid of it at 23k.
Just order it with Sat nav and buy the spoiler later. Renault dont fit it as the arial catches the spoiler, but if that doesnt bother you its not an issue.
I took mine out of my 172 and fitted it to the 182. As cocopops says, the cable is £86 but is really easy to fit. You can relocate the storage bin from under the passenger seat to under the drivers seat so you have somewhere to store your tyre foam.
Its just come to me now. Check the wording on your policy, at the time mine said estimated annual mileage, whereas with Tesco I think it states not exceeding.
See I am helpful. :D
I had my 03 172 from new for just over a year then traded up to a 182. I wasnt expecting it to be much better but it is. Ive not driven one without the Cup suspension, but with it it handles a hell of a lot better than the standard 172 ever did.
The engine pulls much stronger from the...
What I find hard to believe is just how much people are prepared to pay on insurance. Ive always said Id never pay more than a grand, but I did go over it once when I had a 306 GTi-6.
Honda have always prided themselves on how they dont have any engines replaced under warrenty. They obviously lie as I know someone who had 3 before his CTR was stolen!! This was partly down to his driving and track day use, but thats no more than you would expect one of these cars to be used...
I called Renault Birmingham a week before mine arrived and he just went and got a reg out of a book!! I assume dealers have then allocated to them in advance or something.

I paid around £800 on a new 172. Thats 16k a year, garaged, 3 points, Full NCB. I was 26 at the time. Im paying about the same on the 182 but that will go up as I now have 6 points. :(

The AA have always given me a really good price for my first years cover, then ramped it up loads for the second!! I insured my 172 with them and they were one of the cheapest at the time.
Ive currently got the 182 covered with Tesco.
Ill run it as soon as I can find the time and a weekend Im not too hung over to go yeah. I think the 172 had its first run at York with just a few k on the clock. I remember Jill saying, "you cant do that to a brand new car". LOL
If we arent to bad after Saturday night we could go back Via Pod? Where is it in relation to where we are stopping?
Its about time I had a go with the 182.
