Its usually the seat moving from side to side in the runners. My 172 had it really badly. So much so I had new runners, they worked okay for 3 weeks then it came back.
So far my 182 hasnt been as bad but the seat still does it occasionally in certain positions.
If its really getting on...
If you are on ice or on very slippy mud it wont really help you get out of it, only decent clutch control and usually pulling away in a higher gear will help out there.
I tried to let the 172 sort itself out on snow once, and it didnt really help so I switched it off and did it myself.
Not usually mate, if the changer is specified when the car is built they install the cable over the top of the dash, otherwise there is no cable in place.
I took the changer out of my 172 and had to buy a cable to install it in the 182.
If the wheels lose traction in a straight line you can expect a decreas in engine power (bogs down) and a flashing light on the dash to alert you to it being activated.
Cornering you can expect the same only with some brake assistance to the inside read wheel I think. If I expect to be...
They are friendly and helpful, but just cant seem get things right. I offered to take them out and show them the fault, but no, they knew best and applied a fix for something which wasnt broken. Great!!
Anyway, back on topic, most the 172s near me are driven by women. If I go to work late I...
Mines in Wednesday for the things they failed to fix last Wednesday. LOL
The car is fantastic, and like the 172 has yet to let me down or be off the road. Its just a shame there are so many small niggles to put up with and dealers who dont seem to have a clue what they are doing. Last time it...
Common or popular depends how you want to look at it. I couldnt care less, I enjoy my car will continue to do so until Im ready to change it, most likely in 10 months time. LOL
The reason you dont see many Valvers is because they are either rusted into the ground or broken down. ;)
Arent they for the seat belt pre tensioner (sp) things and the warning to tell you that you dont have the belt in?
Theres not autochanger cable unless the changer was fitted at the factory, so thats only one side or not at all.
Sounds dodgy to me, Id not be impressed.
I renewed mine a couple of days before it expired, so Ive got the full 12 months from the date the free 6 months ran up.
Thats where mine was too Jon.
You must have been lucky Jon, or only Silver Cups with CC came with them as Im sure the standard Blue Cup didnt have a net.
People are really friendly up North. They would give you the shirt of their backs, unless you are in Liverpool or Manchester, which arent strictly Northern, there theyll nick the shirt off your back. ;)
Im sure you know my answers. LOL
*lee is not endorsing the 182, even though its quick, comfortable, capable on track as standard, refined, and full of nice toys, and doesnt wake people for miles around* ;) Forgot to say cheap.

Have a quick look at this thread mate: http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=113313&PagePosition=1http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=113313&PagePosition=1
Its easy if you let the person know that it is one. I had no problem off loading mine at Renault Birmingham. They gave me around £1k less than I would have got if it had been a UK dealer supplied car, but then I saved well over £2k when I purchased is.
Why would an import not have a boot net? LOL Its part of the spec of the car just like mats. My 172 had one.
Its the alarm, locking wheel nuts and window etching it wont have unless they have been added at a later date.
