That's not the 'undertray'.
The undertray as known on here is the big plastic bit that covers the hole in the subframe. Held on by 4 10mm bolts.
I've got three kicking around from cars I've broken. PM me if you need one..
You can use a 172 exhaust with no problems, you just have to get the correct link pipe bought/made up.
The biggest pain in the arse is actually fitting the manifold.

Seen a 540 that i don't think I can pass up, so i'm regretfully sticking this up for sale. Bit of a local hero with all of the Failsport bunch. Rightly so.
Don't you worry. If for any reason this little ***** doesn't make it until LM, something equally as big if not bigger will follow.
(Who am I kidding?! I'm probably going to keep this forever.)
So, this little **** only went and made 204.7bhp at SRR last month! Meant to have had 193bhp according to BMW, so rather happy with that. Not got the graph to hand, but i'll get it posted up soon.
Oh, and it loves the snow. Sainsbury's car park got a visit at 2am last Saturday..
Been offered...
Membership is well worth it- decent for sale sections, guides to tell you how to do everything, traders sections, local meets (where you from in Surrey?) and discounts with certain companies..
Nope- you have to spend at least £500 before you see any noticeable gains, and even then it's not much...
Avoid expensive aftermarket induction kits. Waste of money.
Spend the money on better brakes, suspension upgrades and petrol. The engine is already as good as it's going to get without spending BIG money.
If you have to get an induction kit, get either a Ph1 172 airbox of Espace V6 box.
It sounds ghetto, but get a small spirit level (even one on the iphone) on the face of the hub. That will give you a rough idea of the camber on the wheel. Either that, or bolt it on loosely, then place the wheel on and inspect.. Make sure both are the same, even if you are running serious negative.
