When you say 'giving it a little bit of gas', reving to which point? Can't see how the remap would have improved this. I'd just put it down to the weather at the moment. Its bloody freezing. If i try reving mine before the engine is partially warm it hates it. About as responsive as me in the...
I tried this technique this morning, car seemed to push back. Took a reasonable bit of force to push them in. Lost the back end this morning when it really shouldn't have. Slightly confused where the issue lies. :(
so would standing in the boot and jumping work? Or should i just push down with my hands (keep my hands on the car) and feel for recoil from that? They have done 54k. Not sure what their expendancy is.
well the recaros are supposed to be 15mm lower than standard seats and I didn't notice much. Might give this a crack though.
Why do you need to take out the metal bit from the visible plastic circular thing. Do you not just take out the mount under this?
Its hard to explain, but over the last few days i've been noticed the car feeling more bumpy than usual on the motorway. Could the shocks have gone? If so how would i check? Feels like the rear?
Wondered if it could be to do with the fact there is now more tread on the tyres? The best way to describe it is that i can feel the road texture through the steering wheel in the form of vibrations, but more than i used to.
Is it not better do use the handbrake rather than the pedal if you have to? Surely safer than starting/stopping the engine and leaving in gear when there is traffic?
Since having my tyres changed, it feels like i'm getting more vibration through the stearing wheel. I've checked the tyre pressures and they are fine. Its been ages since i've had new tyres, but is this normal? If not, could it be anything else?
Thats pretty cheap for a stealer. Got mine off a guy on RS.co.uk for 400quid. Doubt he's got any left now though. You could always get the wheels from speedline and get the centre caps from renault.
Went to Costco Manchester tonight after ordering 4 new PE2's. Great service. £324 fitted!!!!! Offer on till 15th i think. I'd forgotten how grippy these tyres are when new. Its fab.
