When mine was fitted by Demon Tweeks they cut the OE 172 exhaust in two to get it off. However, Fred managed to get dogmauls off in one piece. It may be worth dropping him a PM. If the old one is knackered then I dont suppose you have anything to loose!

Its the same in all cars Ive driven with ESP/TC. Its amazing how good it is on the Clio. On my old Focus it was hindering/helping all the time. In the Clio it rarely comes on unless you are wheelspinning heavily or seriously sideways.

Wrong way round mate. When you start the car its on by default. If you switch it off then the dash light is on permanently.

If you switch it off, its all off. I always have to make a point of remembering to switch it off before running a quarter mile.

I paid £290 for four Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3 just before Christmas. They offer amazing levels of grip, and the ride quality is much improved over the Contis. Just keep calling branches of Kwik Fit trying to get them to beat the prices youve been quoted by the last one. Thats what I did...

ESP rarely cuts in. Its pretty good and never intrudes. The only time I switch it off is if I want to drive like or nutter or Im running the quarter mile.

I agree that mine now does it to a lesser extent, and the others Ive driven are similar. Mine used to be a real clunk now its a more a gentle knock!

No mate. Still does it. As does Pootle172s, y0z2as and the one I test drove originally!!

Bellow 3k its very quiet, up to about 5k its pretty loud then tails off nicely at very high revs. Its far from silent. People turn and look at it from a distance, but you can still hold a conversation inside easily. Ive not got anymore clips but Ill see what I can do over the weekend.
