The AA guy said the same about my bosses, as it requires the top part of the engine removing its best to get them to change all 4 at once. Just in case.

My boss had the same with his Megane a while back. Two of his coil packs cracked. I had to drive it to the dealer. It was like driving a kangaroo. They no longer have HT leads, instead they have a coil pack and a normal lead to them. VAG had loads of trouble with this on the 1.8 Turbo unit...

Ill be sticking with Sutton Park. Renault Brum wouldnt even give me a test drive when I told the guy Id buy the car there and then!!!

When my mate bought his Impreza he had one fitted. Its inserted from the passenger footwell when the car is in reverse, and locks the gearbox dead. It has a very odd looking key to unlock it. Im not sure if they can be fitted to all cars, but they are very very effective.

During the warmer months Ive had it set to manual as I dont like the aircon being on all the time. Since the temperature has dropped recently Ive had it on auto for the last week or two. In the summer I was never happy with the temperature so did it manually, usually just left it on minimum...

I cornered mine really hard a few weeks ago, so hard in fact it cocked the inside rear. I had exactly the same thing happen. Plus the dam ESP was trying to spoil my fun. Must remember to switch that off when playing.

Ive been leaving mine set to 20c on auto and Ive been lovely and warm. Even with the window open a small amount.

I hate to say this, but Ive yet to drive a Cup/172 with as many rattles as mine. :( The Cup had cleared 34k miles and was a lot more sound than my 7 month old 172.

There is nothing raw about a Cup. :confused: An Elise is raw.

I actually prefer it without, or posssibly with a finer mesh.

I should hope the reason people bought Cups was because they wanted one. You dont need to justify your reasons to us. I chose the 172 because thats what I wanted. Just enjoy your cars :D

Was the cup stripped for homologation purposes? I thougt it was just to be able to sell it cheaply?
