I think theres a little chart in the manul too which states that normal unleaded is fine for but optimal running 98 ron is recommended. Stops the engine pinking apparently.
How long have you go left to wait?
I ran mine in as recommended by the manual and have run it on Optimax from day one. Its only had 3 tanks of none Optimax in 12k miles. Why would people want to use anything other than Optimax anyway, Renault recommend 98 ron fuel for optimal running, so that leaves you with no other choice.
If the car is an EU import then you can claim your 3 year warranty from Renault provided you meat certain criteria.
The first year is Manufacturer, the 2nd and 3rd dealer so you have to pay towards work.
Heres the letter Renault send out...
Dogmaul has a straight through Super Sprint system. Very, very loud. Sorry, make that very very very loud. Makes the Cup race cars seem quiet.
[Edit] And there it is.
It should be easy on a 1.6, there is no room to get your hand in on a 172. :o
Go have a look, if you have problems then pop back and post. :D
You need to take out the main beam bulb as its a small one located next to it that you are replacing. Assuming its the side light you are changing.

One other thing with cars from Motorpoint is you dont get the AA cover you get when purchased from a Renault dealer.
I cant imagine the price will drop too drastically. But its bound to have some impact.
Im not a fan of those exhausts either!
With regard to the performance, its...
Thats entirely up to you mate. Personally Im crap at waiting for things.
Im not sure Motorpoint will have those in January anyway. Im sure the first lot will have owners who have put there names down in advance, but who knows.
Just make sure they imported it from a country within the EU as some of there cars come from Malta. Reault will only honour 1 year of the warranty on those.
I got mine from Motorpoint in March and have had no problems at all with my local Renault dealer. They service it and carry out all...
We both had the full system.
It does hang a little lower but nothing to worry about. Its the bracket you have to watch. I had a heavy car the other day and caught in on a speed bump on the car park at work. Thats never happened before.
I had the figures for both Rich, but only have access to the one set here. The Northampton Rolling Road showed 159.6bhp @ FW and 132.1 @ wheels.
Power Engineerings road showed 168bhp @ FW.
