Bargain at £1700! When I had it i, Refurbed the wheels. Changed the rear discs, pads and bearings. Changed the gearbox as the old one span a bearing. New clutch. New front discs and pads. New front shocks Cleaned it to within an inch of it's life!

That's about as good as they come!

It's a LHD and the plate suggests it's Francais.

Probably a combination of the throttle cable and throttle body. I cleaned my throttle body, and greased the cable and it make a world of difference..

Very close. I think the 172 had slightly more pull, but until I get alongside one, I really wouldn't know! I've not really had any plays with anything of similar performance, yet.. To drive though, I have to say I prefer the 106. Despite the pedals being (almost) in the passenger footwell...

Because it's got no AC, no power steering, no ABS, no anything! I've hidden what wires it does have as well as possible.. I'm thinking red crackle paint for the rocker covers, too. :cool:

Yeah, after 3k, it's loud! Really raspy! I love it. It's quick, but you've got to push hard, to keep it there. It also loves being pushed hard. At low revs, and in traffic, it's hard work, but once you're moving, it's awesome. Just like a little go-kart! Quite surprised with how it hold the...
