Ive decided Im going to learn to live with the rattles. The fewer times Renault get their hands on the car the less extra problems they can cause. So far Ive only had to have a couple of things fixed. A faulty external temperature gauge and new runners for the passenger seat.
Ive also got...
I think I get that scotty. I get a faint knock from what feels like the transmission not long after pulling away from startup. In the morning it tends to be a few yards after I have reversed out of the garage. It doesnt do it again as you say.
I also get the knock from the front left when...
A great piece of reporting by The Sun today. It appears the new V6 has aquired a Turbo!! http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2003200622,00.html">http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2003200622,00.html
Came across this one also. Worth a read if you are as bored as I am this crap Friday morning...
I switched my auto lights off. On my drive in to work I often (always) sit in slow moving traffic. Everytime I came to a bridge the lights would come on, and being Xenon they are pretty obvious. I got some odd looks from people in front of me so I decided to disable them rather than start an...
With the auto feature disabled does that allow you to use the dial to alter the frequency of the wipe?
I quite like auto wipers, always have. They are great when you pass a truck and get a load of spray. The one thing I dont like about them on the clio is the noise of the relay, its so...
I found a place that do S.M.A.R.T repairs. Try and find a place like that. It took them just over and hour and cost me about £35. The wheel is good as new now :)
Not sure if they are up to full referbs.
Ouch. That was one of the things which worried me, hence why Ive not sent mine off yet.
I see on the letter they send out that you should be able to take the required paper work to the dealership when warrently work is required. I think Ill try that.
To be honest, I doubt Ill have the...

Paddy, thats scary. Recently I saw a red Mk3 Astra which had had the same treatment. Really. The number plate was below the bumper and the space where it was had the word ASTRA pressed into it in huge letters. There were no other features to the back of the car at all, it was perfectly...
Griff_90 reckons he had the same problem with Adidas trainers too.
It may be the Alcantara but I doubt it. My chair at work is just plain crap, and everytime I get out of that the door handle almost knocks me over. Ive taken to using my knee so that my jeans absorbe some of the shock, then...
Hi Si
I took it easy to 625 miles, then started to push a little harder. By 1000 I was driving it normally.
Ive done around 2300 miles now. I was thinking Id book it in for an oil and filter change around 3000 miles.
God knows how youve not thrashed it yet after doing that many miles :)
I asked this question a while back. Wolvo got recommended to me also.
I took mine to Sutton Park on the Chester Road Sutton. No problems there.
I wont take it to Digbeth based on the response I got from the sales team when I was looking to buy a car. I have no idea what their service...
I get really bad ones of the car and door handles at work when I wear Adidas Country Ripple trainers.
The ones from the car are so bad that when I put it in the garage at night you can see the spark between me and the car. I try to close it with one finger and only touch the window rubber!!
Try it now: http://www.hiddencar.com/gallery/Renault/2003%20Renault%20Clio%20V6%20Renault%20Sport/2003%20Renault%20Clio%20V6%20Renault%20Sport.htmlhttp://www.hiddencar.com/gallery/Renault/2003%20Renault%20Clio%20V6%20Renault%20Sport/2003%20Renault%20Clio%20V6%20Renault%20Sport.html
The 220 GTi wasnt much quicker then the Twin Cam 216 GTi due to the weight. Someone else hit the nail on the head with the engine, it was an old Rover unit producing 140bhp stock in the early J plate cars. They were the first of the 220s.
One thing I remember about the Rover was that it...
Mine does exactly the same. As you say its only for a dew minutes, so I dont want to take the time to book it in especially for that.
It doesnt do it everytime either. This morning I took it out the garage and drove off as smooth as can be. Last night I left work and it felt like it was...
If driven hard enough and on a straight bit of road the Rover will certainly give you a run for your money.
I remember early one morning I was heading back from work when I passed a Mk1 Mr2. Quick little cars. He decided to gun it, so of course I did the same. There was absolutely nothing...
