Going to be dumb, but any idea how to do that.

Ph1 172, when I come to a stop, the idle (sometimes) goes to 2000 revs. If I lift the throttle with my foot and then let it go, it idles normally, any ideas? I was thinking that maybe the throttle cable needs replacing.

Only sequential boxes don't need the clutch IIRC. Even F1's cars had a clutch before seq boxes.

Happened a few times to mine. Was the brake switch. When you touch your brake pedal, the cruise turns off. If the switch (behind the brake pedal IIRC) fails, then cruise randomly turns off.

And ABS.

I wouldn't pay any attention to that figure, they pull them out of thin air. I was told mine were 50% worn. The day after new pads/discs were fitted. They just give you a number based on your mileage.

Yep, cope just fine with track work as standard, brakes are worth uprating though.

I was under the impression that insurance was a declaration of truth, so you're obliged to tell them anything that could affect the insurance.

But have you declared that the no claims was gained using the bonus acclerator's?

Trophy is so much better to drive. I've had 172's, a 182, Trophy, and the Trophy was better to drive in every respect. And the Recaro's are better than the standard seats.
