Having sat in both, no way could I cope without the adjustable reach on the steering. Driving position just felt a bit italian (straight arms). The reg 197 interior feels like it's worth the cash, the cup doesn't (all IMO). IMO if you've got a heavy car, why lose luxuries for bugger all weight...

Soon as the seats are in!! Had to get the bolts from ebay, the companies/shops round here are clueless, said 12.9 and most were adamant that you can't get them anywhere, so hopefully should be here tomorrow, fitted tomorrow. Might get the passenger seat out ready.
I just don't get eurro. They all look like a lot of work's gone into them, and the finish is good, but looks pretty pants to me. Same as Lustys, can see the work thats gone in, but I don't see why.
Can get resistors cheap from maplins, or from capital seating. The capital seating one's are the official recaro ones, more expensive but if you plan to put the old seats in (if you sell the car), makes it easier to reconnect the side airbags.
