But we aren't japanese! I'm sure lada's are cult in some countries, but you'd get laughed at if you put that down here as a cult car. The mx5 is a true cult car, world wide respect. The ek9 (esp in white) is an appliance!!
Depends what you mean by cult. For me, it's cars that any enthusiast will respect and appreciate. Lancia Delta, Lotus Cortina, Lotus Carlton will all fall into that group. A 99% of car enthusiasts will 'get' them. Show them an ek9, most will be 'wtf?'. I'm not a fan, every non-biased review I've...
Manufacturers are dumping the spare for economy (mpg) and cost reasons, and in some cases due to runflats. As said before, tyre weld does f all if you get sidewall damage, my spare gets me home, the fella's with tyre weld are stuck at the roadside.
When removing the standard seats there are plastic washers between the original subframe and the base of the car. Are these important/required, or can they be removed to give a slightly lower seat position.

Paul, you are one strange dude. I think it's now getting to the point where people can't even respect the level of work, as your going too far. FFS, spraying the inside of your wheels, and painting the caliper edge? Way over the top.
I had a 182cup, but I was changing seats, and I hate xenons, so wasn't losing anything. If keeping it standard, the standard 182 interior is nicer. Just go for the most mechanically sound 182/172 you can get in budget.
