i'd have the aux belt done, as some have been known to fail and take out the cam belt too:eek:
the belt itself is only about 12 notes i think, bit fiddly on a full fat though
i was thinking along these lines too, but mines done 15 thou less, i'm thinking maybe some engine work on mine.... as that 2k would get some good mods
think it depends on your car, you might not have had any major probs with yours..... but then a newer cup might be a 'friday' car.....
first question.... why do you need more power? if its not powerfull enough after only two weeks of ownership, it might not be the car for you..... remember the 182 is not just about straightline speed, they have a proper sorted chassis.... maybe book some track days to get the full potential...
cup is a good car, if you want a drivers car, this is it,
have you driven one yet?
oh and not keep up with a cooper s....... pass a cooper s you mean ;)
hmmmm that rings a bell, i've only noticed it since i've had a new steering rack fitted back in november.... i would imagine the rear mount would have to be moved??
i'm getting the banging in 1st etc...... does anybody know exactly which mount is at fault??!!
and has anyone brought the lower dogbone mount from k-tec?
if so whats the thought on it?
yeah, normally go with the old man, i have gone in mine before, but borrowed me mums fiesta last night... i feel guilty leaving my cup on the streets, always wonder what state its going to be be in after the match!
paranoid :(
last night (25/01/06)
silver mk2 phase2 172, looked lowered, but not 100%, parked outside the bently garage, must have been parked to see the united blackburn match..... come on you reds..... :)
