Mint weekend, hotel antics and the night out was the best bit for me. Met some sound people too along the way.
Getting no sleep FTL " charlie echo foxtrot what is your location?" etc etc
'Tard!!
You would'nt of LOL'd if you were there! I did'nt know what to do with myself, Shat bricks sunshine.
They must see it often cos it didnt seem to bother 'em.
Well, he had it at about 4k revs for ages, bedding the tyres in to the rollers?? Dunno exactly why he had to do that?
But the actually power run was a slow acceleration upto the limiter, think he may have done it in 3rd and then in 4th for the final run. Im not sure if thats how it should be...
182 manifold, sport cat, K-Tec stainless and matched inlets. That is all
His dyno is older than i my grandad tho, i must add!!
Although he was saying another local dyno makes 30 - 40 BHP more with the same car, so i cant see those figures bein too optimistic.
Dunno what 162 ATW would be at...
Very lucky indeed! It must just be the high revs in an enclosed space that caused the problems, nevr had any temperature problems before.
And thanks Sy, good to back. Dunno what the cause was, as said i drive the car everyday, hard most of the time too!
Well the story goes, went to get the 172 RR'd this aftenoon at a local tuner ( peter burgess in alfreton ) Top bloke Peter said he'd only charge £15 to do a power run so i was chuffed with the price... They strapped the car down, bedded the tyres in to the RR, Set up the cooling fan and off they...
the car is a beast....Andy has 2 of them at exactly the same spec, a blue one and a orange one, both carbon fibre and both space framed, beasts of a car!:)
Yea sorry it just threw me when you said in first and second, and coming from the front right I assumed you meant when you was accellerating.
Did you get the Aux belt and all the pulleys done with the cambelt?? Have seen the aux belt idlers fail and the bearing squeels sometimes.
So let me get this straight, he's got a minter of a bentley, thats not even dirty.
He's attempting to detail it with some s**t products, he's failed miserably.
Thats does'nt even class as a wash, never mind a detail. Tool
Theres no way my centre caps will fall out, they are a tight fit! Just been out n measure them, they are about 58 - 60mm, hard to tell exactly with a ruler.
You cant tell they've been modifeid either, only popped the speedline bit out to grind a hole to clear the end of the driveshaft, then...
Theres no groove on mine either, the centre caps were a tight fit but i put a dab of superglue on just to make sure they didnt fly off!
On the fronts the centre cap would'nt go on because the driveshaft thread stops the centre cap going on ( obv near the hub nut ) All i did was pop the front...
Yea thats right, but people say the centre caps dont fit any 2118's. Ive modified the centre caps to fit on mine, i would think they can be made to fit on the cup racer ones too.
I could be wrong tho! :o
Ive got the 38 offset 2118's, and the standard speedline centre caps do fit, had to modify the centre caps a bit but they do look alot better with them.
