I've never known a lambda to cause a missfire.
Change plugs for the from NGK PFR6E-10.
The coil pack could still be at fault, don't rule it out.
the lambda to go for is an upstream one. NGK OZA660-EE21
love it mate. Awsome car.
If your going to do anything, lower the passenger seat too. But i don't think it needs it.
what's with the gear knob? Can't quite make it out but it looks a bit fail from here!
overall. My net opinion is love, but as said I'm dissapointed it's ended up facing skywards a bit.
Is the fabricated airbox/plenum (which by the way looks stunning) going to be restrictive. It just seems a bit wierd having ITBs (loads of induction surface area) sucking through the 70mm hose...

is my thread showing results when I changed my lambda.
I was told on CS that the downstream lambda is purely diagnostic (pureley to turn on that farking light). But I'm not so sure anymore. I'm going to plug...
I don't know how you can say that! the starlet is a fugly car! I love R5 GTTs
The thing that lets them down is the combination of a carb and a turbo. It's not really a winner.
Great laugh though, just not exactly hi-tech
when you buy second hand cars you "make your bed and lie in it" so to speak tbh.
It's not an unreliable car, but not really cheap to fix being an import. Plus being a turbo there is more to wrong.
Oh forgot to mention. As standard, boost is limited in 1st and 2nd. That's the first essential...
I wouldnt bank on it being the most reliable thing in the world if driven properly. As said, turbo gaskets, manifolds can crack, apart from that the turbo could go.
You'll never know until you try tho
