change the release bearing on the gearbox (lot of labout tbh) Fit a new dogbone too if it's bad. In extreme cases a really worn one can cause the car to come out of gear when you give it hard throttle. By dog bone, I mean lower rear engine mount (the one that takes all the torque)

the only 1.8 clio is a MK1 valver box, which would fit iirc, but I'm not sure if the mounts will bolt straight on. Best to leave the valver box alone actually, pretty weak. Ph1 172 boxes have a longer 5th and little longer 4th. Ph2 boxes are the short 172 boxes.

So are you running a boost pressure map sensor? I don't see it mentioned in the spec list. the Gas kit look gucci mate, good call. ;) Have you checked the flywheel sensor?

Knackered bushes would probably not cause THAT much skippage. Change the lot. Front wishbone bushes (uprated if possible - powerflex), and skocks all round

Be aware the a Ph1 172 has a different style cat to a Phase 2. The Phase 1 has two cylindrical cats side my side and the Ph2 has one small normal shaped cat. I know I say this to everyone, but I would say that your lambda sensor could be at fault tbh (this can also cause poor MPG and bad...
