Which is the best 5 inch component set available for around £100? any shop, any brand. I'm looking for sound quality rather than massive volume. Into house mostly. NOT going to run amp and SUB so need good bass out of the 5inch

Just changin my coolant. Can anyone tell me where the bleed screw is for the cooling system on a 172? CHeers! sorry to hijack the post!

Someone please put me out of my mysery and tell me were the coolant bleed screw is on an F4R. It's cold and raining and getting dark! :dead: I know its 10mm (but then everything in the termostat area is!), I know it requires the removal of the air box cheers guys. Mark

My mate has a Ph1 1.2 with Ph2 172 wheels on it. He gets minor scrubbage with 1 person in the back round roundabouts. It's not lowered

That is spot on mate. There are defo no crossovers in most modern cars, just simple filters installed into the tweaters to stop them taking a bass kicking that would defo destroy them

I have a mate who was a viper on a 1.2 8v engine in a mk2 ph1 car. He managed to get his cheap (don't ask, can't be done again) as a proper kit and it does sound nice. The trouble is that it will sometimes make a bit of unwanted noise on the motorway cruise because you don't have a lot of power...

could well be a bearing yeah. They normally make a noise when there is weight on them. So if there is no noise when turning left for instance, it's likely to be the left front bearing. My 205 had a rumble which turned out to be a REALLY ruined ball joint.

i don't know about that one. My car heated fully and the Rad Fan came on and the noise was still there at 2.5K + check your oil level - sorry if that sounds like i'm teaching you to suck eggs. Low oil can cause tappetty heads
