When I first bought my cup back in april I heard rumors on here that renault were going to be offering a 200bhp upgrade by xmas for 172 owners ? Anyone know if this is still happening ? or if not who else does it aftermarket and whats involved etc ?

mate, I think you will find its the driver, not the car. I own a cup and I drive fairly sensibly, even when I get some t**ser trying it on hoping Im going to take the bait. I normally just let them get on with it, I dont need to prove that Im more childish than them (mostly)!! :D

Ive got to admit its not my taste. Why ruin the looks of a good design with some cheap aftermarket chicken wire. It makes the driver look about 17 (mentally). All it needs is some blacked out windows, a set of halfords foglamps positioned mid-grille, and a set of 3 spokes.

because i was driving down the motorway and "NO OIL" lit up on my dash so rather than take a risk I stopped at the nearest petrol station and thats all they had. better to have garage own brand than potentially damaging the engine due to lack of oil :)

yeh the handbook is a bit b****cks, it doesnt make it very clear and gives this chart which would be useful only to a rocket scientist to follow.
