Faults @ first service

Just got my cup 172 first service today. £135 all in, however ive been told that whilst servicing theyve discovered something leaking @ my power steering pump or something wrong, so theyre ordering in a new pump etc and its all under warranty ....

Was quite pleased that they goto the extra effort to actually do stuff like this rather than ignore it, I cant imagine a powersteering pump + labour would be cheap ! ...

conclusion : PLEASED.

p.s. dunno if its psychological, but the car seems like it has a bit extra power since I got it back tonight, feels smoother, i used to get a split second hesitation as it climbed through the revs around the 4500 mark, but now its just smooth all the way through the revs.

In the first year they dont mind cos its all charged to Renault UK, its in the second and third years they tend to get funny.

Is that a 10k/12k mile service? Impressive price if so. Ive just paid £150 for a 12k service for my vts, not through dealer either.

ive just had a 12k service in the cup and it feels much better. Keeping the car serviced will make it run better

This is the first and last time you will be please with the service from Renault. Savor it.
