its a pity you cant find someone with a 172 who is prepared to swap parts with you to help you diagnose it without the expense of paying for new parts from renault....

If you want a more basic ride, but a bit of a more raw feel in the car go for the cup.. if you want gadgets and more comfort go for a normal 172... Reliability seems to be good on the 172s, you should be able to get a 10k milage cup for about £8000-8500 with about a year or more warranty left...

wow, i couldnt resist not knowing the outcome so i went and done all 4 wheels... its done a real good job, you just brush it on and the caked on brakedust crap just dissolves off. still got these little dark spots in the corners it wont remove but its done a better job than scrubbing imo.

will it make it just like the day i bought it again ?
