How much for an engine and manifolds etc? Im thinking to put one in a renault 5 turbo as they bold straight onto the renault 5 gearbox apparently... Just need a running block and ecu and a bit of bodging to make it fit tight..

yeah ralph, the crap thing is the classifieds on there are now restricted to members only... another reason why paying them £15 a year is a ripoff, you advertise something and don't even get full market exposure :|

I used to be a member Clart, I've had 5 turbo's since I was 19 (i'm 27 now)... and I think the RTOC is a rip off... £15 a year to chat on a forum... Why should the site owners profit so hard from running a forum? Fair enough they have other stuff to offer but I live up north and don't go to any...

I remember ages ago on the RTOC website seeing an article about 5 turbos having a problem where the starter motor just makes a clicking noise and doesnt turn over sometimes, but it was fixed by changing some relay or something, wasn't the actual motor.. can anyone help me out?... I dont wanna...

sorry, but the more I see the "new" clio.. the more it just reminds me of a shitty pug 206 with a renault badge on it... long live the 172 cup (the best "clio" ever made imo!).. renault have cocked up on this occasion I think.

yeh its the 1.4... at the end of the day, yeh its slow.. but it gets from A to B, thats all I wanted.. something bigger, safe, with basic comforts. When we go back to being a 2-car family i'll get another hot hatch or so, i've still got my 5 turbo in the garage for the summer months ;)

in my 172 cup ive never seen under 32, and thats giving it maximum stick.
