    197 plenum on a 172

    That depends really. Bolting the manifold on isn't going to see you 210BHP. But i wouldn't say there was no real gains. We payed £120 for the inlet and fitted it on. Sadly we didn't get a before dynograph but with some very rough (and still not correct) AFR set ups the car now pulls 174BHP...

    Fred! That's really mature! I do hope your works more professional that your replys on here! My ears are not gay, I just like what I like! And I intend to spend my money on what I like! Noise at Bedford is strict and alot of clio's especially with decats get sent home!

    24 mate. Just love my trackdays too much to have a loud exhaust. It's not fun when you've spent £200 on a track day and get black flagged in the first 10mins with no refund. My cars fully stripped out so even a quite exhaust is bloody loud in the car.

    I like it bacuase it seems to flow really really well and is only 82db stattic on noise test for trackdays. It's also a 2&3/4 inch bore pipe witch will work well with my supercharged engine. I just hate the sound of the ktec stelth and especially the yozza! Far to loud!

    Yer man. Your spot on. If you look really closely you can see where someone's cut the oval off and fitted the down turned part. I've been trying to find one for years!!!!!

    Is it worth trying to include leake street opersite the london eye? It is a tunnel and full of grafiti. Really good for taking pictures Also isnt there a rounderbout in a tunnel somewhere? that might be nice to include too.

    I know how all the mechanicals work but does anyone know in detail anything about the signal that the ecu sends and how vaiable the timing is? As the 172 doesnt have a cam sensor, am i right that at a certain load site the ecu just fully advances or retards the cam? What im trying to get at...

    TBH no. the extra 200rpm isnt be all and end all. But if you could p.m. me the price of the pump internals that would be great! :)

    Thanks mate, that's some really good information. Thank you for taking the time to post:) How much are the rockers and oil pump internals? Id rather the oil pump is over spec'd for the application rather than on the limits. The R.A. Is being balaced at the moment. Cheers Mike

    I never see sports in staines! Ive Got a blue PH1 With white team dynamics 1.2 My mates got a black PH1 with the same wheels and my other mates got a silver PH1 On standard wheels with a PH2 rear bumper
