this got me slightly amused :S '' Anyone with feedback below 10 needs to give me full address and phone number before bidding or i will cancel the bid and block you ''
definatly sounds like a dealer
that engine cover is going to have the lads at the body shop swearing. i tried doing mine similar with tvr purple and it went tits up. desided to piant it all purple in the end and lacquared the hell out of it.
will be a hate thread aswell ;) possibly going to get some stick for ' destroying ' what a vee is all about.
but yeah, got a few mates willing to help me build it up.
yeah sure, passenger ride welcome, when its been finished, not letting anoyone see it in person til every last detail is seen...
you want the fogs to come on with the stalk controls or you not bothered about a simple switch on the dash somewhere? pritty easy to do with a inline fuse and rocker switch. ( stand corrected if this isnt the way to do it )
lmao, you got me started now. dont think i will have the chance to own a 172/182 at this rate :rasp:.
srs tho, i am looking into making a v6 derv rep. or try and find a writen of v6 that needs abit of love, and drop a derv into it. ( modified derv engine obv, standard power is for economy )...
i dont like that one, its not even finished by my standards tbh :dapprove:
haha, a vee rep dCi now that could be a great idea, but tbh i think i would never make a V6 rep. would hate having a boot where a nice lovely v6 sound could be. ( not a sound system ffs )
check your bottom lower hose from the rad, follow it to the block.
if its coming off, you see a thread looking pipe thats ment to have the hose on. ( usually held via a jub clip or another type of clip )
mine drained its self and got really hot with no water ( smoke and steam to )
thats...
depends how you treat them. mine have hard wax on to help try stop the rust coming. lock nut seems to be the worst for it, surface rust in the key pattern bit.
yeah the lock nuts are pritty easy to mess up.
does say somewhere on the packet, torque up to 65NM, which is what all mine have been done to.
must say, the do look smart against the turinis
its upto you mate, a new OE seal will only last aslong as it has from new to now.
with mine, i didnt bother. i just plastered it in bathroom mould resistant silicone sealant, and then refitted the sunroof frame . apears to have done the job nicely.
