It's possible to do on the cheap if you are handy with tools. Take the current centre section off and cut the silencer off, buy a straight 2.5" piece of pipe long enough and connect it up with something like this:
Yanoo made some stiff shift kits which came with pretty good instruction, should be some PDF's or video's on his site:

TDC Sensor on top of the gearbox.
Loses connection and it just clicks with no start. It's often on the plug/loom rather then the sensor.
I've read the sensor is in the same place as the manual, so the above image should help.
Best of luck
Get a long piece of wire and an empty toilet roll holder.
Pull the top of the passenger door away from the car (Easier the further towards the back of the car you go) and slide the toilet roll holder into the gap and run the wire through, aim for the central locking button.
It's fiddly but...
Welcome ! I echo much of the above, first car is all about learning, you really couldn't go far wrong with becoming a full member on here and having a look through the projects section and read some of the bigger builds (Burpspeed was one of my biggest influences for building my own sport...
Got to consider vram too, 2GB a card does not equate to 4gb total (As each card is often working from the same texture sets, it's almost mirrored on both sets of RAM) Same with tri and quad configurations. DX12 should remove this, but unsure if it's just going to be exclusive to DX12 pure...
Hiya,
Had an issue on the weekend where the handbrake arm on the rear calliper (Where the handbrake cable hooks onto) snapped, are these removable ? I'm looking to buy a spare calliper and swap the arm over.
I've just bled the rear callipers is all and I'd like to avoid removing it if I can.
Hiya,
Bit of a strange one here, I bought a lovely PH1 a few months ago that I've been rebuilding, when I bought it I noticed I had to hold the fob button to start the car (I believe this is an immobiliser override) after inspecting under the bonnet it appears there is a relay override in...
Tie rods are not too bad to do, you do need a weird tool for it, got mine from halfords "hydraulic fan coupling spanner" or something to that effect :)

These are normally ~£220 from what I've seen, £169.99 with free delivery and a free £80 Iphone 5 Gaming pad case !
believe it or not none of the pearl settled in the block, the majority attached itself to the tubing and the rest in the bottom of the resivoir. Just rinsed out, but one more job you don't want to be doing when changing the coolant.
Dosent really offer much other then the looks, now I've tried it (and although it did look pretty ace) I probably wouldn't use it again, maybe give the red a try in the distant future.
Well I had the mayhems coolant in for a few months now, almost all of the pearl has fallen out of the coolant and settled in te radiator and bottom of the resivoir (despite being setup as they advise it to be)
Recently got a block for the 690 so used the opportunity to change the coolant and...
Personally I wouldn't be adopting 4K (TV anyway) for a while, there's almost no content and by the time there is, the tech will have developed beyond where it's at now.
100% You need a solid state, it will change the whole experience. Use it for Windows and the apps, store anything like pictures/videos etc on a mechanical HDD where you have the space.
The Samsung 840 Pro's have very good reviews, a new version of it is due soon which is meant to be quicker...
I've just fitted cooksports to cup shocks, as above - not needed.
I did have a 1.2 spring slip and go off between my legs when the clamps slipped, caused my knee to bounce off the concrete. Very lucky not to lose my leg that day.
My local halfords will also fit them for £5 if it's quiet in the...
I know this stuff is quite commonly used on here, however when I checked a tub I got the other day, It now has "Not for road use" printed on it!
I purchased a bottle around a year ago and it does not have that label, has something new came in regulation wise ? Wonder if it will be checked on...
I done mine yesterday on the PH1 with powerflex black and can confirm they are an absolute nightmare (And Mine had the subframe off the car !) Basically a 2 person job with a big pair of grips to compress it at the top, throw the bolt in and get a few threads, then adjust the grips to a place...
I'm quite surprised they bent in the first place given the strength of them, however I suspect you are correct regarding how. I'd like to avoid replacing them if possible, the front bearings are pretty steep for what they are, not to mention I've just spent an arm and a leg replacing all of the...
Hiya,
Just had new front bearings pressed into the PH1 hubs and noticed one of the connecting arms for the calliper has bent. Anybody have any idea what material the hubs are ? I thought there were cast iron but from what I've seen, cast iron does not like to bend ! Hoping I can heat up the arm...
