Christ!! Looks like the piston parted ways from the wrist pin and punched the s**t out of the combustion chamber. That’s crazy

Interested also, for det to cause a catastrophic failure like melting a piston so much it threw a rod through the block is some serious melting... and on an N/A!?
‘Melting’ could have also been from seizure or something which would lead to Rod Stewart showing his face [emoji23][emoji23]

Give me your WhatsApp and I’ll send you a wiring diagram and ECU pin outs if it helps?
Scratch that, I only have the 182 diagram.. but I do have the Gen90 pin out chart if you wanted to cross reference any pins?

Cheers for that mate, I agree with the torque thing I’ve tried lots of variations and it’s okay with the standard mounts and poly dogbone but do still get a fair amount of engine movement even with the top mount cage ‘tightened’ to stop so much movement!
Also find even when new it doesn’t take...
How can there be little or no vibrations!? I have standard mounts, all new... apart from the Black series dogbone bush which doesn’t vibrate much.. but if I even add the polybush insert into the upper mount it becomes horrible, dash vibrates, keys rattle etc!
Are the Ktec mounts good?

Sachs performance organic clutch... perfect! I’ve had mine in for lots of different power levels and torque, 245hp/230lb ft 282hp/270lb ft and now 340hp/311lb ft.. it even took 340lb ft before we notched it back a bit.. never slipped, heavy track use and road driving. Feels a bit heavier than...
Big day was today! Arrived on site, fitted my 630cc injectors just before Andy arrived to get it on the rollers for setting up smooth throttle, low end finicky bits..
Built up after some loading to some power runs... straight off the bat 352hp 322lbft [emoji15][emoji15]
Turbo is definitely...
Have northloop kit on mine, have done for many years.. no problems, swapping the bearings isn’t a big deal and very cheap.. weather will get to them if not regularly greased and can go tight but as said no dramas, pros outweigh the cons

Sooo Friday the 17th I have the Gen90 master Andy Cutler coming down to get the new turbo and 630cc injectors dialled in on the dyno supported by a much bigger intercooler and after mapping kept cool by the AEM meth kit.
Previously the ED turbo ran out of puff at 11-12psi and the 225 Megane...
Haha, I even put heat proof tape over the holes before the bumper went on, like OEM style!
Yeah I like the W through my grill! [emoji23][emoji23]

I have the same intercooler, it’s a beaut isn’t it!! Mine went on my Clio 182 and I mounted it upside down as it fits nicer, the pipes are off centre.. (I can’t quite tell from your pic if it defo the same as mine)
I trimmed the overlap off the crash bar and seam welded it all the way along...
Well I couldn’t see it last night, ended up being forced to play BR and that never goes well!!
Enjoyed the new scrapyard map though, little less crazy than shipment.. less spawning with a gun up the ass
