What to replace my 888's with

I believe they're E marked, so they can be used on the road. Not that you'd want to in anything other than bone dry weather lol. I agree, they look awesome! Don't forget that track tyre widths are 'usually' wider than their stated size, so a 195 tyre can sometimes actually be 205 in width.

What to replace my 888's with

Get some of the new Nankang AR-1 so you can tell us all what they're like  Seen them for £70 a tyre and i've 'heard' they're a little bit quicker than DZ03G in testing in Italy. http://www.motmotorsport.co.uk/nankang-ar-1-100-c.asp

No guarantees I can get rid of them, but it's worth a try. I've got a few things that could work.

    Cage bolt in/weld in? Daily?

For a weld in you would need to strip out the interior ideally, so you don't set fire to anything when welding. Bolt in would be more practical and you can have it powdercoated before installation, a weld in cage would be painted in situ.

    R888 - Mileage?

Very good price. They're £72 on Camskill.

    R888 - Mileage?

I wouldn't bother with R888's as a daily tyre. Get some AD08R's, they're the best of both worlds for road and track in my opinion.

Bargain. I'd get the belts changed asap too, being left to stand for years they've probably perished.

Spotted this - Clio 182 38k - Gumtree - Nothing to do with seller

It's nothing critical if they're missing. But on a car with 38k, you wouldn't expect it to have been resprayed unless the owner was a perfectionist.

Spotted this - Clio 182 38k - Gumtree - Nothing to do with seller

Exhaust mounts are knackerd and it's been resprayed on the front at some point as the bumper is missing the black stickers.

    Front drivers hub nut removal

I'm not smart enough to work out how much force can be applied with a 6ft bar, but i'm guessing it's not far off 1000Nm.

    Front drivers hub nut removal

Crack it off with the wheels on the ground too. A 6ft bar should do it easily!
