Thats not true about Ferry's, you will easily get a ferry over especially this time of year it has just been ran, they will draft in more Ferrys if they are struggling, booking accommodation is another thing as people usually return to the same place yearly that's why your easiest camping and...
I know you go well there and like it Tony, but having never been before it just seems like an oval and a hairpin from the videos and maps, low powered cars in the dry its foot to the floor no dramas it seems. Its probably different driving it but it reminds me of Goodwood which is boring in a...
One of the two videos I remembered to get from Sat past at Knockhill (in two parts) the weather was a bit poop but it added to the fun. I had a few gearbox issues during the day with the clutch failing coming down into the hairpin at the end.
Excuse the gloves on and off, lap timer wouldn't...
Do you not find Mallory a bit of a bore, I have never been In person but it seem's such a prosession in lower powered cars, there isn't really any corner as such, it looks like everything upto 250bhp is just foot to floor everywhere??? Obviously it looked like you had loads of fun there in the...
I can imagine that has been very pricey for yourself with paying labour for the current spec, I personally have spent stupid amounts on my two clio's and tow car etc etc to go racing but I don't regret it as I get enjoyment from driving it/them, it keeps me busy fixing things and its something I...
The swooping corners especially the one before the start finish seemed like you we're nursing the power, shouldn't be needed in a little Clio IMO. What tyres do you have? Sounds like a squeek of a cheap tyre lol.
Looking back at the video on a bigger screen I see what you mean by heavy handed...
Yeah I'm doing 80 through the top of Duffus consistently though, when I spun out it was a bit twitchy under braking and turn in, just run out of talent lol.
re one hand, don't even think about it half the time i'm quite a relaxed driver, you will know when i'm really pushing though I'll have...

Just got to get a new box and clutch fitted and hopefully be back out on the 5th July.
Pics and videos from yesterday. As said it was the slickest I have been out on, a few couple if cars dumped oil round the whole circuit early.
First of the two videos I remembered to film, full spin half way through at Duffus, don't know what I was up to looking back at it. First session...
Good pics and video, I like someone taking a hold of a car a driving it, you caught that two tone Clio hand over fist.
Your car looks like it needs geomatery changing or better tyres though.
Some cracking pics Korky.
That two tone ph1 trophy car, ph2 v6 with reg V6 RUK ang ph2 172 with reg T6 OJC are stunning cars. Who had the carbon dipped wheels, looks surprisingly good??
Kelv, I got 220 miles (some drifting and 4x4ing At Knockhill) to a full tank of 74 litres £100, that was sitting at a steady 70mph when possible. FYI going southbound from Aberdeen to Fife is a gradual Incline 80% of the way so it drinks the fuel, better on the way back though.
Yeah I am looking to get mine done as well but two different officers confirmed that quote was right. Jeep kerb weight is 2510kg iirc trailer 2800kg with 500kg kerb Clio 1000kg ish so well within that guidlines. I see what your saying about MAM but they said it would be the weight on the day...
Im booked on, trying to get guaranteed time off work plus the gearbox I need is still attached to the racecar engine haha. Away Tuesday too so its looking doubtful.
Well... had another good day again, had loads of fun and a few spins. The weather was shocking at points and the track constantly greasy with constant 4 wheel drifts :) The clutch failed 40 minutes from the end so got a good run. The g/box is needing a recon too which was known, 1st synchro was...
Nah Sonny I ain't done my test yet but want to so I can tow my trailers full capacity if needed. I just go by this which is a snippet off the DVLA's site, I have asked a couple of Grampians finest traffic cops and they agreed so I'll go by this for just now. My trailer and load is always well...
I was SO tempted earlier just for a test but I had a final destination thought of the car exeting stage left barrel rolling after it turned my jeep into a shogun sport spider.
Yeah I'm sure that would be fine, I got soaked last time putting on 4 straps as my mate put a seed of doubt in my head....Cnut. Is that all you ever use?
Yeah i bet. Thats a good point, can you fit 8x 15" 7j wheels on a Brian james high level rack? I'm looking to get a BJ one and retro fit it to my IW as they don't offer one.
LOL
Car looks dead gid braw mate, loving the dash. I'm glad I kept my dash. f**k nose what you were thinking with the purple.....and food colouring, I forgot to rip you for that haha.
Whens the tow bar going on the 'R' ;)
Nice work again moo and I bet your chuffed Pete.
I would love an interior loom and control box made for mine come time, I could bring it down and then tie it in with a Brands race next year when its picked up.
Yup all special editions are like sphincter's up here. Bentleys are rife just now for some reason, followed a new f-type jag today too....undecided on it. #oil & gas
Balanced it detached from the jeep untill I couldn't quite pick up the trailer by hand and marked it for future. Jeep looks like its ready to wheelie haha. Its got a full boot load tools, spares and everything to camp including blow up double beds, 6mx3m tent, crates of beer, food, barbecue the...
