Engine bay has ooodles of space, im guessing your going for the euro smoothed look in there with the witing hidden? Why did you make custom engine mounts?
Sorry mate, cant help but find fault it was my job after all. Yup that's your problem with dodgy spacing, I bet it is actually moving about, take a hard right hander and it will be back straight again ;) . Might be the pictures but if there is oil/greasy stuff on the shock its burst.
Bushes...
From all the reports/reviews I have read R1R's aren't as good as RS-R's and AD08's are a step better again for dry grip.
RS-R's seem to be the best all rounder going, price v wet/dry grip.

Both bushes are definitely fecked after looking at it on a PC, they are meant to look like this ^^^^^^ with no gap between rubber and bush housing.
And as said...
Lemfoder is a good make. I have used a good set of water pump pliers and stilson's before to do them so the 32mm tools not critical although I got one. Aftermarket parts are usually a different sized knuckle so the tool is useless.
Everything looks to be fine. Check how much thread is visible on each stub axle. Measure the stub axle thickness too, hard to tell from pics.
Your brake hose doesn't look to healthy from the pics on the passenger side.
Edit: actually the bush is hanging out on this pic...
When I say standing water, remember I'm from the north of Scotland and I mean 'standing water' not just a covering that you southern cissy's are used to lol.
My mate runs them on his mk1 FRS and goes weekly over hills of Glenshee near me in snow/rain/grit and has never complained, obviously standing water will be a problem but all tyres suffer from that. Iirc they have 7mm tread too.
Wheel spacers will increase bearing wear and will throw out steering geometry (size dependant) but if using modest spacers then there's no difference to fitting a low offset wheels. Lets face it nobody chooses a wheel offset to give them the best geometry they do it for looks. Fitting big...
Federal RS-R's are 74.69 a corner just now on mytyres.co.uk in 205/45/16 if its the cost of r-series tyres that are swaying you. I have got a set ready to go on at the local tyre fitter and you get them fitted for £8 a corner through my tyres.
Iff it cant be repaired as above then rip it off, aslong as its not the one at the fuel tank as it could potentially melt through the tank and also keep the one at h/brake, gearstick area as it can heat bushes and cables. Everything else don't worry, standard practice is to remove them in the...
Definately stronger in construction, the rack part of the mechanism looks a lot thicker than DCI and I bet the pinion is too. Quaife done one at some point but they no longer do, if we could get say 10 interested they will normally have some made up though.
I probably still have all my manuals from college with course work of ohms law, flemmings left hand rule da da da da da that you will never use, I could probably send you them if your exam isn't for a while, I have no use for them.
Will try this sometime and get it remapped with higher idle, did it idle without ecu or did you not try. Mine with inlet advanced circa 5 degrees just about stayed going but hunted and stalled far to easy taking away.
As far as EML, some cars share that for emissions faults so ?!?
If the SRS light isn't present yet you know that car was fitted with airbags and the guy has said he has removed the system. What would you do?
Thats pretty much exactly it, except the changes to EML light.
A tester is not going to remove your dash top and look for air bag and side impact sensors etc so just blank the light and blag it basically.
