There not sure if its old style or new style, getting back to me on Monday. It is a full set they have though of whatever type, powerflex don't sell individual apparently.
If he comes back there old style there advertising they should honour that price as it cross references to powerflex site...
The lighting loom earths are behind the passenger headlight iirc and one behind the drivers headlight too, 15mm I'm sure, maybe 13mm
Check all the fuses and unplug and plug all connections on the headlights again Incase it's a bad contact.
You need allen head bolts on the top or the bottom can't remeber which but better to get for them all. If you try to use standard you will need a fair few washers as there too long.
Then you might need for coil pack mount, rad etc but I don't know what you do and don't have.
Don't do what my mate done is his first car, a four speed mk1 Clio 1.2. In conversation, as you do when your younger, we were bull**iting about what we have done in our cars. He assured us he could drop from 4th to 1st at dual carriage way speeds (70mph)
We said it wasn't possible so off we...
And I believe you have a comeback on a private sale even if the seller puts 'sold as seen'
If he/she knowingly sells a car with defects or advert isn't accurate and you have a copy of this then you have a grace period of some kind by law.
Dom littlewood done a little section about it on his show.
I didn't say it was "special" I said it was quite rare. I couldn't tell you what has been done engine wise, all he said was it was an early TT engine that was stronger.
Suspension is a new one to me, I have never seen that setup so I thought it was cool idea over full bags.
I'll ask more...
Yeah I think its 4motion but he said they are quite rare?? Good idea for the suspension, aibags aren't very performance focused but this should handle like its on coil's.
Absolutely love those wheels personally, I think they make the car, remind me of the old Escort WRC monte carlo's.
I thought I would post some pictures of a lad I know's VW Bora, he shares a lock up with me and I thought some would appreciate the pics.
Its one of only 150 4x4 Bora's in existence (so i'm told)
He has swapped the engine out for an early Audi TT V6 engine which i'm told is stronger and has...
Yeah could be mate, the guy I share a lock up with has just had it all powder coated and re-chromed....it's looking good. All I know is its a Tony Kart though.
If your going to go up a kerb turn the wheel towards it so it rolls up rather than mashing it sideways, that will stop bending things in 90% of the cases. That's from years of thinking I'm a rally driver when the snow comes down.
I think I'll go with 1.5 degree machined into my spacers and then shim it to suit differences in the beam if any and some toe out.
How much toe out do you run Pete?
