Yup or you'll end up swapping ends with a big lift. Shouldn't be too bad in a Clio, the first 1/3rd of the corner would be the worst I would think if you were going in about a ton.
Yeah the tow bars I have looked at are rated to around 100kg which I thought was funny but supposedly that's right as your not meant to have much weight on the bar itself.
RTFQ's....sorry?
Yeah I took my time, about 3 hours in total to do it. I just played with axle heights and kept it hot with a heat gun and never got any kinks or paint crack, only one little bit inside that had already lifted. I then dollied in the front edges and the horizontal bumper join line to clear as you...
Yeah your right, should be around 40mm wider than a 172 cup with turinis. That's perfect, I have PM'd you about spacers again Steven, changed my mind.
Cheers, I think ill need it. I have till to start studying the flags but I have seen enough motor racing that it shouldn't be a problem...
I think he's referring to the arm on the valve itself where as your referring to the arm that bridges between the valve and chassis like a FF 1*2.
Lets call it the "LEVER".......the spring holds that up on the cup until brake pressure is applied then it goes down where as the FF cars is held...
To answer your question, yes that's the BTCC layout. Turn 1 must be a bum clencher in the wet.
No lifting now Pete ;)

Update time.
Not much has happened on the car itself but I'm getting closer to racing all the time in the background.
I put a deposit down on a trailer tonight after finding something in my price range that wasn't at the other end of the country. I just missed out on a BJ A-max last week with...
Usually the case with code readers, you need to have proper diagnostics gear and check live data or else you end up at the wrong end of the car replacing the wrong part if you go by codes.
Luke's car just sounds like a simple missfire tbh, wd40 on all the plugs, leads and coil pack plugs, bets...
Getting somewhere finally lol. You looked into a recon pump, won't be that much and a hell of a lot easier. Are you sure it's mechanical knock as you had said it went away from time to time so my thinking would be diesel knock. This happens with bad fuel burn/injection at the wrong time if your...
Doesn't mean much to me tbh, shows something's out of control slightly maybe i.e lambda and the car has reached its max fuelling parameters maybe. Doesn't tell you exactly your AFR. I wouldn't trust that as gospel anyway.
Others might disagree but that's just a throw away code afaic.
Be a relay 'IF' they are fitted inside the glove box, find which one, swap it with another of the same kind thats in there to check its the relay and not receiving a pulse signal of some kind.
My mum's car is on 130k, never gets serviced, mot every year isn't too bad either. Saying that I have a complete front end suspension refresh to do it next week as its getting tired. They chew through crank sensors but at £26iirc you can't complain.
More caster creates more dynamic camber, i.e when the car is moving and the steering is turned the camber increases periodically with the amount of steering angle you put in. Not to be confused with just better turn in.
More caster will also pull your wheels into line quicker i.e like a...
