Its normal for a gap as that's how they work, that is too much.

Top mounts don't cause any vagueness in the steering typically they just usually knock when they are worn. Don't think that's your problem but you could either be doing with new mounts anyway or someone has built them up wrong.

Theres no upside down pics, one is a Twingo RS rack from the front and one from the back, I was trying to show that the pinion looks a hell of a lot longer on the Twingo rack compared to the Clio RS rack I.e not possible to fit. Fred says it works though so fair enough.

Whatever wheels you opt for, phone the factory for the cheapest prices usually. If its TD pro race 1.2's you want then its rim stock for the UK, I phoned today and got 4x centre caps for free.

Search "Clio alloy radiator" or "golf alloy radiator" on eBay, there are loads to choose from but the golf items need small pieces welding to them or just bend up some brackets depending on what you want to do. The golf ones can be had in loads of different sizes too to suit your needs.
