Oh my god this looks good
It's about time they brought out some more mech games, I lost about 4 years of my life to mechcommander and the mechwarrior series! lol
Yeah the ISO is fantastic. Shooting at 6400 you can just see some noise coming in - but 3200 and below is noiseless
Insane. Really handy for shooting in pubs/clubs etc..
Probably my favourite shot from the day

When you say left most one - do you mean drivers side
If so it's the oil seal around the VVT switch - Mines gone and it leaks oil all around the HT lead on that side and eventually it drips down onto the plugs. Mine started miss-firing because of it :(
Re: 172 oil leak from rocket cover plenum area noticeable worse during hard track dri
Is the oil on the rocker cover on the drivers side - if so it'll be the oil seal around the VVT trigger.
Mines gone and it leaks when I give it a bit of boot
I've ordered a new oil seal from Renault - only...
I treated myself last week to a new Fuji X100
I used to use my Canon 17-40mm f4L as a "walking around" lens - but it was huge and heavy, especially on my 7D. I started to realise a lot of the times I wish I had a camera I didn't because my dslr kit was just too big and expensive to have on me...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
What date are you doing Angelsey mate?
I love that track and really need to get my Clio back out this year lol
I think I used an 8mm one, drilled all the seat brackets out on mine
Get a drill with variable speed and use it on slow in pulses though - they're sharp as hell and go straight through the french tin can body work in seconds
That's what the place I went to said too - if it was clearly a track car (cage, harnesses, steering wheel, all meeting MSA regulations) then they wouldn't fail it - but in his words "If it's another kid who's taken his back seats out and fitted a big exhaust I'll fail it" lol
Nope. When Steve Jobs announced during the iPhone 4 launch that the iPhone was now the most popular camera on flickr, I nearly cut myself.
Camera phone crap should be on instagram, or photobucket. Flickr used to be awesome. Most of the Flickr staff realise its beyond help though and jumped ship...
There isn't a cable on the B&M - it's all different
I have my old shifter in the shed still in the housing and that has a cable on it - got the B&M fitted in the car in a spare housing and that doesn't have a cable :)
Re: 182 Pure Motorsport top mounts& strut brace, worth it over standard rubber mounts?
I suppose it depends what you pair them with
Mine's fitted with uprated wishbone, and ARB mounts and coilovers. Definitely noticed an improvement - much sharper steering response and turn in
I never do Paddock flat out but I do leave in 4th after an instructor at Brands told me too - there's little point down shifting as it's such a fast drop down anyway you can save a gearchange
Surtees is flat out in 4th - and cut, but I learnt last year not to cut it too much after I got 8" of...
Re: 182 Pure Motorsport top mounts& strut brace, worth it over standard rubber mounts?
It's not that harsh really - just when you hit bumps it's a bit stiffer
Re: 182 Pure Motorsport top mounts& strut brace, worth it over standard rubber mounts?
No they're not at all - check the clio cup cars they use the IDENTICAL kit to the pure motorsport setup
I noticed a huge difference in turn-in - much sharper
Also... £360???? Are you on crack?
