    Superb choice. Looks great.

What's the cheapest that's been paid?

Some great bargains out there. I seriously can't think of a better performance all rounder for the money.

    Girl's reaction's to your RenaultSport?

My ex girl friend hated my 172 because it was too loud and chavvy. To be honest I don't drive cars to impress anybody I drive the car I want to. Incidentally though most girls love my MX5. Others, and the lads, say I look like a queer driving it.

Bit of advice go a treat

The RS Clio is such good value for money for what it is. The 182's are great on fuel, comfortable (standard) and well spec'd. Combine that with that fact the cost bugger all to buy and go very well you can't really go wrong. I keep looking at my next car and looking back at 182's simply because...

    Decision time

Get a 172 then. I was going to get a 106 GTI when I was 19 and then add SS exhaust, manifold, IK, cams and a remap totalling like £1500 to make it 172 pace. Then I did the sensible thing and bought a 172 which was the car I actually wanted. Cost hardly anything extra too, the GTI's are silly...

Please dont give me bad news!

Fred is excellent. Seen his work first hand, second to none.

new clio broke down - what route to take

Is it me or do you hear of new cars going wrong just as much as older cars? Or do people just complain about it more because its new and are more fussy (rightly) about little niggles. You don't hear of many older cars going in a garage 17 times in 3 months for example.

    172/182 reliability?

My 172 was reliable. Only had it 7 months but it never broke down, started first time even in -13 conditions. It did have a few drivetrain knocks though, new engine mounts helped but didn't fully cure it. Basically the 1*2's are getting on and are generally driven pretty hard so they will need...

    Audi RS3 Review.

Saw an RS3 today. Such a discreet motor, to the untrained eye you wouldn't notice it being any different to a normal A3 sportback. This one was just black with black wheels. Properly nice car.

Finally a new car to replace the clio

How does it drive? Is it interesting enough? I found myself looking at these on pistonheads the other day. So much car for the money.

    DCI Power!!!

Not bad for a dci that. How you have a licence still I don't know though, I've seen loads of pics of your cars at 120+. I wish I was lucky enough to get away with it.

Pictures of my new Audi S3 Black Edition in Ibis White

Looks really good. What mods are required for stage 2? Is it expensive? Must be bloody quick with 360bhp.

My Estoril Blue E46 320d Sport

Are you considering a remap to go with the decat? Should get a really good gain.

Considering sacking off the car all together.

I tried life without a car. I sold my ph1 172 because I was going to uni and I got a good price for it. I ran a shitter for 4 months then sold that when I actually moved to uni. I thought I wouldn't miss a car whilst I'm at uni, hell I'd have nights out when I wanted, students girls everywhere...

    205 Rallye anyone?

Great condition and a true time warp. I'll let somebody else pay 10K for it though....

    Viper induction

Get a 172 PH1 airbox, or an Espace V6 airbox with a silicone 90 degree bend and a panel filter. Seems to get the best results out of all the induction options (RS2 and ITB apart).

    Clio injuries...

I don't think I ever did anything to my 172 without bleeding. Changing wheels, adjusting the exhaust, changing bulbs etc always lead to me bleeding.

    New Car - Focus ST

I'm a big fan of the ST's. Best of both worlds really in that they're comfortable and have a good spec whilst still being fun. They also have that engine, which really gives the car character. Strongly considering one as my next car, I'd rather an RS but I can't afford one, which is a good...

    F355 GTB

My ideal Ferrari. I've driven one and fell in love with it. None of this blisteringly quick and automatic everything stuff on the modern Ferrari's. The 355's feel raw and sound amazing. Every drive in one would be an event.

    430hp R26.R Dyno Graph :)

Very very impressive. There is a video of a foreign one on youtube claiming 380bhp and it flys. This must be something else.

    Gutted:(

At normal road speeds you could break mid corner and not have an issue, I see people do it day in day out. Glad she's ok though mate. Shame about the ph1, hopefully you'll find another. Echo Martins comments though, women are easier to find than a nice ph1 ;)

    197 Pros and Cons

They're great looking cars, and in my experience they will corner faster and out break a 1*2 by a decent margin, a lot flatter through the bends I found standard v standard. My issues with them is for a car that is the same pace (or slower depending who you ask) as a 172 your realistically...
