Right, im looking to get my wheels refurbed soon. At the moment they are just plain old silver, and i do quite like the OEM look and im tempted to get them done in silver again, but theres a side of me that wants to try something different. Ive had anthracite turini's before and seen black ones...

Does a powder coat get rid of the curbing? or just paint over it so the dent is still there but its not visable unless you get up close?

RS Tuners do launch control, just buy one put the 98 RON map on and the launch control map then sell it, no needs for box's or wires n only takes 5 mins to do. ​FYI launch control is a waste of time btw

Yeah very pricey! The high pressure one on my cup was about £220 I think from Renault. The other one is about £180. Your better off buying one off a car that's being broken if you can mate. I've seen some for about £30 on here

Love this car! The black stealth theme looks the business n went well at Bedford! Passenger lap next time and more fun out on track between our two cars :race:

Cheers Jon, yeah I had no intentions of keeping it... Only got it really to see what it was like. Really really pleased with the stealth, it sounds perfect even at 70-80 on the motorway it's almost silent until giving it some and even then it's not droney or harsh on your ears :approve:

Thought about going turbo?

Not sure any pulleys have been used, just had the VVT switched off by the ECU and unplugged to stop the pistons hitting the valves.

Cheers mate likewise! How was yours coping with the temperatures? Mine wasnt holding boost quite so well, i was only getting 5-7psi max... it should have been holding between 11-14psi! Once ive bought a new actuator and got it remapped il be holding a bar constantly so should be around 300bhp im...

Cheers Craig, I like it that way tbh... Apart from the front mount and turbo bullets you'd never know it was anything other than a standard 172 Cup... until the turbo spools lol!

It's ok, driving off boost is a doddle in comparison to my Evo I had. Il let you know what figures I get but I'm guessing around 30mpg when taking it easy. Then considerably lower when driving hard!

Oh right good stuff! Yeah it goes well just needs a few final tweaks then it should be a bit of a weapon

Well i thought it was about time i put together a project thread for my car, so here goes... After buying the car back in March ive been making a few tweaks to get it to its current spec. I bought the car as a low pressure turbo 172 cup running a very small amount of boost due to a weak...

Sorry to hear about this mate, was looking forward to having a blast out with you although my car was only holding 5-7psi once up to 5k... We think a weak actuator when hot because it will hold 11-12 when then engine/turbo cooled down. ​Will keep an eye out for the final diagnosis n hope you...

What dyno do these guys use? i might come down for a go...

Yeah you should defo pop along, some people are selling tickets for peanuts! Have a blast around for 2-3 hours then come for some grub with us all after, happy days!

Buy a ticket for the RS evening at bedford on Friday... theres a few people selling them at the mo, be ideal to ease yourself into track days!

I will be running circa 280-300bhp... Left my car with Andyrg for a few weeks to drop some megane internals in and a tweak of the boost ;)
