that I don't know but it looks like stock to me, anyway that is just one of the 182's I've been looking at and they all appear to be the same.
any chance I could find some factory specs regarding this?
:(
check this one out though:

first picture upper left corner. it looks lower than mine and not so down forward, I may be paranoid now but that is what I see :(
My car is 45k at the moment, his is about 53k, so could this difference add that much wear to the springs?
wheel size wise the difference is about 5mm i (overall diameter)
yes he has a spare wheel but can this drop his back 3-4 cm down? :-/
i've checked some pics of other 182's and they appear...
I've met a guy today and his 172 is a lot lower in the back, the front is the same as mine as you can see in the pics. he says his car is on stock suspension and mine is also, so how come mine is so high??
I've measured mine in front directly under the front splitter and it is 14 cm off the...
can you detail this procedure once again? I tried this and it seems that I did it the wrong way.. I'm also having the loose pedal thing and the clutch won't disengage properly, it has a low biting point and if I hold it in 1st gear, standing still with the clutch pedal to the floor and...
I've been driving with the K-tec ones for 10 days now and this is how they work:
the horrible full lock knocking is now history
It seems like I have much less understeer than before, also fitted Hankook RS-2 on the front at the same time with the mounts, and maybe the increased front grip comes...
the cup pack comes with stiffer anti roll bar and this means it's also thicker. I also have the anti roll bar bushes fitted and they are :
25 mm inner ones
23 mm outer ones
enjoy the ride :)
I fitted both KTR engine mounts plus the dog bone poly bush and boy they are rock solid! at the same time the helix organic clutch went in and the car felt really different in the first couple of days, now I'm starting to get used to it (the idle vibration also :D) and I like it
before this mod...
the 182 blows gases directly towards the rear (instead downwards like the 172) and because of the turbulence in the back, the vapors end up on your glass. The same thing happens when driving on a damp road at high speeds and the rear window gets sprayed with drops of water, common thing for all...
So here's my problem..
couple of days ago I fitted the Helix organic clutch kit, as I had some problems with the original (car is 45k now):
1. there was the obvious crunch and squeak that we all know about
2. car standing still, engine running, pressing the clutch, engaging 1st gear and while...
not always. I replaced the clutch kit with the helix organic and the crunch is gone. there was friction between fork/bearing/pressure plate. I'll post some pics
not the cable guys. just changed my clutch and the noise is gone. but it still present if I press slowly the pedal, but a lot less than before, the thing is, the fork is rubbing on the release bearing, and that's what I suspect is the main problem. I'm not saying that sometimes the cable is the...
one other question: after the accident I may have lost some brake fluid (I guess since the engine oil level is ok), this I guess means that if I press the brake pedal it will go to the floor right? quite a lot of yellowish fluid was under the car
unfortunately I had an accident 4 months ago, and the car is due to be finished in about 2 weeks. it hasn't been started since and wondered if there is something to know when starting an engine after such a period
to have a good idea about how this system sounds here's my 182 with the milltek fitted, the car being stock otherwise, no decat pipe. had no problems with the welds so far, only had it run for about a month, but as others said, there is a lifetime guarantee and their customer service is very...
I've heard some 3 people complaining about snapped pressure plates with the OE clutches, I have the helix organic one waiting to be installed, thinking maybe this is stronger than the original
you mean you want to take off the stud covers? you can do this by bending a 2-3 mm steel wire, some 7 mm off the end to a 90 degree angle and use it to pull out the cap, or just try to use a screwdriver, it might also work

you should pick up a tyre that has the closest overall diameter to the original, I'm guessing 195/55 r 15 will be ok. don't go more than 195 in width as your stock rims won't cope with that very well
