    Leaking Climate Control

Ok thanks. In that case I'll think I'll leave it Renault to sort out under warranty on Friday.

    Leaking Climate Control

Ah that's probably it then. I don't get any water under the car, so it must be the drain pipe that's blocked. Where is it? Is it easy to get to? Should I bother taking it to Renault on Friday still, to get them to do it?

Because Of This F***** B***** Of A Forum..

Neither did mine - I think it must have been an optional extra.

    Leaking Climate Control

Well I thought it was condensation too, but there's far too much water. Then I thought maybe a leaking condensor/heater matrix, but that would smell funny surely? As for Kwik Fit, I'm really not comfortable taking my car to the worst place in the world, for their "professional" opinion - I'd...

    Leaking Climate Control

My climate control is leaking water into the cabin!! Both footwells are wet (mainly the driver's side, which is soaked), and the glovebox, which has a puddle in it! Anyone else had this problem? My carpets are starting to smell a little. The car is booked in at the stealers on Friday, but I'm...

    LOL! No, thankfully. :rasp:

Because Of This F***** B***** Of A Forum..

The whole turning the ultrasonics off thing - can't it be done by just locking the door with the actual key in the passenger door lock, or does that just not set the alarm full stop?

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

Yeah I think I'll need some sort of chemical cleaner. Thanks for the help guys - always appreciated! :D

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

Where does one purchase such a product? :)

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

Seriously? Do you think that would sort it? Is there anything else I could try in the meantime?

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

My white stripes are stained with what looks like orangey-yellow spots, and the surface has gone very "matt" (as opposed to all glossy). I've tried AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover, and AutoGlym Paint Renovator, but nothing seems to be able to shift it. Anyone got any...

    Trophy In Emsworth

Well I waved at him in a friendly way, but I got no response!

    Best car hoover ?

Henry is Badass! I wonder if there's a Henry Forum, for all his adoring fans? On the whole Dyson crevice tool thing though, I can't get down the side of the seats with my Dyson using the crevice tool - it's just too big.

    Trophy In Emsworth

You were flying down Barton's Hill, and came up behind me before I turned left. Anyone from here?

    Janspeed Exhausts

So is the Blueflame/K-Tec exhuast boomy on the motorway then, or am I going to be better off with the Janspeed?
  17. Karlos182

Oh dear, what have i done?

I'm not entirely sure. Why not take it to a dry cleaners and ask them? Maybe just give them the mat to dry-clean?
  18. Karlos182

Oh dear, what have i done?

IIRC, tyre shine contains silicone, and not a lot gets silicone off stuff. You'd need to use a solvent to remove it. Why not try a bit of white spirit in the boot, and for the mat, maybe some dry-cleaning solution would work?

You know you've been ragging it when...

Similar thing happened to me at my last trackday at Goodwood. Had to drive 15 miles home with only metal for brake pads! I love the ticking sound from the exhaust after a good ragging, along with the smell of burning rubber and hot brakes.

    Janspeed Exhausts

^ That will be interesting, to see the difference between standard cat, sports cat, and de-cat. Oh yeah, thanks to Justin for that piccy. It looks really good from the back - nice slash cut pipes that follow the contours of the bumper downwards. I think I'm going to have to get me one now! :D...

    Janspeed Exhausts

    Great pics - thanks! :)

    Janspeed Exhausts

That looks pretty good. The picture is really handy actually, as Janspeed don't have any pictures of that system on their website.

    Janspeed Exhausts

Sounds good matey. Let us know how you get on at the dyno. :)

    Janspeed Exhausts

I wasn't planning on getting the sports cat just yet, just the cat-back system. John, what price are you doing the 182 full system for?
  25. Karlos182

    Janspeed Exhausts

Thanks. That will be extremely handy. I just don't want it to be too loud, or boomy on long motorway journeys.

    182 Front Speakers

I'm sure Pioneer do special custom fit speakers specifically designed for Renaults. It's a component system, so you get a mid and a tweeter that drops straight into the original holes. Not sure how good they are mind!

    Janspeed Exhausts

I'm contemplating a Janspeed Full System for the 182. Are these any good? Does anyone have one of these on their 182s?

    My New ClioSport Mats

Sounds nice matey. That's why I got the blue piping - to match the racing blue of my 182! Rex - I have no idea - just email them and ask.

    My New ClioSport Mats

Mate - I thought their website was a bit poor tbh - it's just not that helpful. So I emailed them asking about the ClioSport Mats in the gallery, and went from there. It was all done by email, then I payed for them using PayPal.

    shock absorbers

This has come up a few times actually. My shock was leaking after 24000 miles. Renault UK and my local delaer have refused to replace under warranty, despite it being a 2004 car. As others have said, the shocks are somewhat of a lottery. Good luck with your fight!
